Vulcain Nautique Lagoon

my Vulcain Nautique Lagoon, limited to 50 pieces just arrived. I literally wore it for about 3 hours after swapping out the band it came with a tropic style rubber but the movement was found to be defective (would stop completely every few min even with a full wind). had to ship it back to France for repair. hoping I won't have to wait months to get it back. :(

Something about a thin bezel like that is really nice aestheticly. Maybe it's a vintage look? Anyway I like it!

Aloha, Paul. Big fan of Vulcain. Absolutely gorgeous watch 😍 but bummed for you that it wasn't working properly. I am sure they'll be able to get it back up and running. Perfect dial color for Hawaii!

Hope you get it fixed soon! I love my Vulcaine Nautique in black- I haven’t had any problems with it and it’s getting a lot to wrist time lately!

I got mine last week. So far it’s running fine. Usually the ETA 2824-2 is a workhorse and dependable. But anything mechanical can fail. I switched out the stock strap for an Artem. Really love this combo. I wore one night to bed to break in the strap. Couldn’t believe how good the lume is.

It’s basically a re issue of a 1960’s diver. So very perceptive on your part to recognize the vintage look.

Very cool dial color. I just bought the black dial version and also had to send it back due to a bad movement. After wearing it the whole day it stopped after 3 hours.

Pretty disappointing for such a price class. Hope your watch can be fixed and you can enjoy it soon.

I'm a sucker for turquoise dial watches (own several turquois/aqua color dial watches), and the beaches around where I live matches the color of water perfectly.

and it's rather strange, what you experienced sounds almost exactly like what happened to me. I did notice the watch was loose inside the box that came in. I'm thinking perhaps the watch got banged around a bit too much traveling from Paris to Hawaii. Vulcain really should do a better job securing the watch a bit better inside their packaging.

that's a long way to hawaii. mine just came from south of the boarder and travelled maybe 1200 km and was well packed. I would lean more towards lack of quality control

update! just got my Vulcain back and it's running great. Carat kept me updated frequently and I am very, very satisfied. It wears extremely well and the color is just absolutely perfect. On cut to fit rubber.
