Show us your VOSTOK watches !
In my short time here, I couldn't fail to notice that many of you are enthusiasts and own a number of VOSTOK watches.
Although my passion for watchmaking only began recently, I grew up with two VOSTOK watches lying around in a few drawers.
First, here's the one my uncle gave me ten years ago when I was an ungrateful teenager.

Unknowingly, I had just been handed my first diving watch, which later became an incurable obsession, and I never really quite figured out the watch's potential.
Here's a slightly more interesting VOSTOK, my grandfather's.
It's the Komandirskie Awards from the President of Tatarstan (50 years of victory). All military personnel and veterans of the Great Patriotic War received multiple commemorative objects. My grandfather was not in the army, but played an important role within the Tatar community during the Soviet era. He also distinguished himself during the siege of Leningrad (Road of Life).
As you can see, under the famous Soviet star, the flag of Tatarstan is hoisted on the barrel of a PPSh-41, and below it is the St-George's Ribbon.

Watches have never been important in my family, which has Soviet roots. Of course, each member has their own anecdotes about their Pobeda, Raketa, Luch and, of course, VOSTOK. I intend to change that.

Love this thing! I’ve got two more on the way and am bidding on fourth on eBay. I can see these things becoming an obsession.
Komandirskie 350504, was on the original bracelet and now i put it on rubber strap.
