I have 4 Artem sailcloth and one NATO. I'm not sure they totally justify the cost, but the quality is high and the hardware quality is extremely high. I think the NATO is better than the factory Omega ones. Their deployment clasps are as good as on any OEM watch I've handled.
I think the lack of day and date on the smaller one probably has more to do with the placement of the discs on the movement and them not wanting to do the work to move them
I do have my next two watches picked out. I would like an explorer and a speedmaster. They'd both replace watches in my collection. It's going to be at least a year before I'm ready to pull the trigger on the explorer (and I think it will come first because you can always get a speedmaster). So done for a while is applicable.
The Ressence Type 3. I love the way it looks and I find the way it works fascinating. It would be a big stretch financially, but if I really wanted to I could swing it. But I don't think I would ever actually wear it. I think it would look completely out of place with how I dress.
Im glad it exists. And if I ever met someone wearing it, I'd talk their ear off. But I don't think I'm the guy who wears this.
I own a Christopher Ward and a Nomos. I considered an Oris Diver 65, but after trying it on the quality didn't seem up to the others. Christopher Ward felt equal to better quality with a similar movement at a much lower price. Nomos is about the same price but felt more premium.
