I had been searching for a while to find a vintage inspired diver to replace my Bulova MIL-SHIPS. I liked the Bulova, but I had a few issues that kept me from wearing it very often. I spent about four months trying on various watches and narrowed it down to the Omega Seamaster 300, Longines Heritage Bronze, and the Tudor. I decided I liked the Tudor best, even though I own 2 other Tudors already. I also thought the burgundy bezel and the jubilee bracelet would make it more versatile in my collection.
I'd been waiting for one to show up at my AD for a while. I just happened to be buying a Cartier as a birthday/anniversary gift for my wife when the AD invited me to a Tudor event they were hosting. At the event I was able to try the jubilee for the first time and was sure I had made the right decision. Unfortunately, that watch was allocated to someone from a different store. On a whim I tried on the version on the rubber and was shocked how good it looked and felt.
I was able to purchase the watch that night, and order the bracelet as a separate item. I am much more of a strap guy than a bracelet guy, so I had planned on getting a third party rubber strap or a loopless Artem strap anyway. Having the OEM rubber means not waiting for a fitted rubber strap to come from a third party. It was a little more expensive than I wanted doing this, but it was still less than the Omega and I am very happy with my decision.
Of course this means no new watches for a while. I'm on a strict one in one out policy. I think I know which two watches could go, but it won't be anytime in the next year at least.

I concur.
Congratulations on a beautiful timepiece.
Congratulations! When a watch sings to you, it sings to you. I personally love this watch. Wear it in good health! 🍻
Beautiful! I would have got that over my recently acquired 54 is they offered a smaller variant. That insert and jubilee is an awesome combo. And to see a master chronometer in a Tudor is awesomeness. Kudos
"Done for a while"
I used to collect guitars, and I used to say that too.
No-one ever believed me........not even me!
😉
Lol, nice watch, I have the same one and I love it, enjoy!

I do have my next two watches picked out. I would like an explorer and a speedmaster. They'd both replace watches in my collection. It's going to be at least a year before I'm ready to pull the trigger on the explorer (and I think it will come first because you can always get a speedmaster). So done for a while is applicable.
