Yeah. I voted AT, especially the new AT 38s.

·

Whoa! Is this a semi-final?

Whoa! Is this a semi-final?

The matchup looks like it, but it is sooo far from it!

·

Ugh! This is getting too difficult!

·

I voted Rolex, but my head says Aqua Terra. Primarily because you can walk in an Omega dealer and get one.

·

AT simply because of the variety of colors to choose from. If you have put up an OP vs the AT, I would've voted OP

·

Explorer for me but 40 version as I have big wrists lol

·

Anyone else got beef with the AT handset or is it really just me? It's always looked like a design mix-up: an arrowhead on the minute hand. Every other watch I can think of that uses an arrowhead puts it on the hour hand (you know, where it belongs). I can't believe on a forum for arbitrarily triggered contrarians I'm the only one who thinks this is an issue??

·

Would a date just not be more comparable?

·

Woah - I know the AT is popular - but the explorer should be walking this. Especially at the price of the AT relative to some of Onegas other watches.

Then again I sit here with my explorer on so I’m biased!

·

explorer all the way...just because it is my favorite watch, simple, elegant, sporty

·

My two favourite watches. What a 2 watch collection it would be. Maybe some day.

·

Explorer simply because i like mine. But AT looks fine as well

·

Owning an Explorer, I am somewhat biased - the lumed numerals are really fun, the bracelet is awesome..

And the Omega 41mm seemed huge. For a long time the AT just seemed to miss the spot.

However, in 38mm guise, with the teak dial decoration, the date@6, the movement, the display caseback, 150m... Objectively, the AT is a clear winner on paper.

Downsides for me are subjective: The bracelet will never be an oyster, and the polishing is overkill. The pointy indices aren't my cup of tea. Lume is not as visible as the Explorer.

I wouldn't trade my explorer for the AT. But I would gladly add an AT to the collection.

·

Which Explorer I though? If its the 36mm 114270 then that wins all day. But if its the 214270, then its Omega all day.

·

I owned an AT Coax, and the bracelet was lackluster in comparison to the Oyster — that’s the reason my vote went to the Explorer, otherwise tough call. Sold the AT for the black non-GV Milgauss — that would be my pick of the bunch.

·

My next watch will be an AT day date but a 40mm Explorer is at the top of my “someday” list.

·

The Aquaterra is better looking and has a better movement

·

Would never have thought the AT would win this battle

·

AT got my vote

I hear what you're saying and agree it's a bit strange. That being said, I love dauphine hands and the arrowhead really adds to the watches style.

My biggest complaint is that the lume (especially on the hour hand) is terrible.

AT wins. If it was an OP it woukd be more difficult to choose, but I'd still pick the AT.

·

I picked the Explorer, specially the 36mm version. The smaller thinner case and micro adjustment are the reasons I go for it under the AT. The AT is a bit too flashy and I’m not crazy about the dial.

·

Gonna to be hard to beat AT

I'm not a big fan of the teak dials. That's what held me back from getting an AT until the shades dials were offered. Of course the shades has more polish which increases the flashiness so I guess it's a tradeoff.

The co-axial movement, display back, character of the markers and hands, and the fact you can walk in and buy one at an AD or online from Omega, give the AT the win in my opinion.

·

I went with the Aqua Terra, but it was a tough decision.

·

Money is on the Aqua Terra simply for all the options with colors and designs

·

AT is technically better. 38mm AT wins by a mile
