Is this "Homageable?"
I was going to send a message directly to @Ichibunz since he seems to be the go to person for personalized watch requests on WC, but then I thought I might as well open it up to others just in case. I ran across this cherry dial Day-Date while scrolling and fell in love immediately. It is WAYYYYY out of my price range, but I wondered how close someone could come to cloning it. Not looking to purchase right now, just wondering if it's possible and if so how much it would be.

The tricky part will be the day date complication availability alongside compatibile cases. If you are looking for homage, you can try everyone’s favorite Pagani Designs. They have a purple homage, granted with numerals vs. sticks. Or you can go right to the source and grab one of these in quartz for $23. Granted, neither are quite the right shade of plum, but short of custom dial work, it might be pretty tough.

The dials there’s few out there but not cherry red though that I quickly browse through…

Affordable you'll be looking at the 8285 movement. There's a similar build you can do with a nh36 but the dial isn't going to be exactly right.

Thanks! The brown dial is nice, I do have my heart set on a cherry or burgundy dial though. Do you know the thickness of that case? And do you know what the water resistance would be?

Thats an easy build you can do yourself. Ali excels at rolex clone parts. the only trick is the dial.
