So 70s

I know many will not agree with this acquisition but for me it was a must have from the day it was announced. Integrated bracelet, golden colour, digital display, quartz, 35mm and all this in a modern package. I’m a 70s kid and this one is so 70s.

The only person you have to make happy is you!

Nice purchase!

I think Its an acquired taste. But in ten years I reckon it will be worth twice that of the quartz PRX.

·

Why did they debut with the horrible black face when these look so much better?

·

The gold is so damn cool. I would wear it with a white tank top that’s gotta a spaghetti sauce stain on it and go full guido.

A beater with a gravy stain and a gold digital watch.

Or a burgundy leather jacket with large lapels.

PRX = Personal relatable experience

Glad you got what you wanted. In this zone I always think gold A700

I think Its an acquired taste. But in ten years I reckon it will be worth twice that of the quartz PRX.

And models in good condition will be worth 4x the original price in 20-30 years after half them get damaged from poor maintenance.

Mine says "07734" 😁

It's beautiful. This really does have that 70s vibe :-).

·

It looks best in gold I think. Just a lot of bare face, could have had a bit more text. Love the size of the LCD

·

If you are into digital it's a nice piece.

·

I’m not mad at it. I see all the Casio comparisons and I don’t see it myself personally. I mean, how many other ways can you do digital display? I see it as its own thing.

·

I think the 35mm prx is really cool. Everyone calls them a bad casio, yet casio refuses to make their digital watches with steel and saphire, let alone a case and bracelet of this quality. No hate to casio, but no other brand gets off the hook as much in the watch community.

The gold looks super 70s and is arguable the best looking of the bunch. Enjoy it

I bought the exact same one, and felt the same way from the moment I saw it! There must be literally dozens of us! I’m not a 70s child but I like the 70s aesthetic.

It's like when the GS warriors became champs and then everyone and their mothers bought the Steph Curry jersey. When I bought mine it wasn't like now where they're hard to get. I just went to the site and purchased super easy lol. Now an honest and quick review. I didn't like it at all when I got it and for the entirety of the first month, It just stayed right in its box. It's possible Casio made the conscious decision to put the absolute worst bracelet that they could bribe some poor indigenous folks to mine the earth for the ore just to turn it into the flimsiest stainless steel band maybe... ever? That said, one day( for some unexplainable reason) I caught the dial in the right light for the first time, and really noticed the microscopic crystallization process they used to induce such a deeply saturated and complex shade of Tiffany Blue that changes colors depending on your viewing angle, that I really started appreciating and it's become an everyday watch. It's cheap enough where I don't have to worry about banging it, I hate to admit it, but it's a watch that gathers the most comment from kind random folk. To be crystal clear, you are only paying for this DIAL. But if you know that beforehand and that's the mindset with which you purchase this watch, I think you're going to f****** like it lol. Also, no photo will give you an accurate representation of what it looks like on wrist. I'm just as frustrated about that fact. I would have liked the certainty before spending the money if that makes sense. But to summarize, I think I really agree with TGV from the Urban Gentry, where it has the same zeal (well maybe not the same) but it can generate interest in people to once again wear wrist watches instead of smart watches and from that point of view if it's getting iron on the wrist, it's a net positive for our community man.

Brother I absolutely agree! I like to hear why other people like what they do for the genuine insight, a contrarian opinion doesn't have to be defensive, and the people I've met on here have really been modern gentleman (or ladies!) and I think share the same value. A bit a humanity in an otherwise cold world hehe.

Thank you friend, I will say personally I've evolved maybe and become more...humble?.. no, Patient- than I used to be. Very surprisingly lol, that has allowed to enjoy watch culture so much more than I used to. I'm actually kind of mad at Casio because they've turned me into an addict twice in my life: as a child with Pokémon and as an adult with Casio and their subsidaries etc lol. Our Japanese friends knew!!lol
