Speedmaster Moonphase
Super excited with my first major watch purchase. I've been eyeing buying a Speedmaster for awhile and this was my initial fave and went with my gut.
The blue dial and bezel are spectacular. The silver ring around the 3 and 9 o'clock subdial shines. The red Speedmaster is cool too. I love the movement and seeing all the parts labeled.
The strap is very high quality in fit and thickness.
This may be a forever piece in the collection. It will certainly get a lot of wrist time.

Congratulations, it's a lovely watch. I love the dial and sunburst, the moonphase is cool and the little red thingy telling you the date. The box looks out of this world also.

Oh wow! This is a Speedmaster I actually really, really like. Love the dial, the red details and specifically the moonphase - which should be obligatory on a watch that calls itself a moonwatch! At 44,25mm just a bit too large for me though..

I had a chance to play with this one at a meet-up and while my views/relationship with speedmasters (specifically moon watches) waffles between "I respect this and should like this but just don't . . . meh" and "I guess I need this? Meh" . . . I did feel much more strongly about this model. Sadly, as with a lot of the special edition speedies its far too large for me. It's objectively beautiful . . . a moon in a moonwatch which is cool.

I don't even like Moon Phases or Pointer Dates, but somehow Omega has made them both quite attractive.
I may have to give up my bloodlust for a Speedmaster Pro & direct it towards this one.

20cm (7 3/4in) wrist so I tend to like 42+
