Glad I'm not the only one to spot the NH38. But then I thought about it and realised the reason could be the lack of ghost position.

Seiko for all the reasons Inkitatus gave and the Seiko movement is easily replaced should you ever need to.

Oooooh! That's gorgeous! Works really well 👍

Yes, looks like there might be a small spring bar in there. Good light and a loupe (everyone should have one) should reveal what it is.

Having bought bracelets from both Uncle Seiko and AliExpress (with the seiko logo) I would say the Uncle Seiko ones are far superior. AliExpress is like the one Seiko supply with their watches, adequate but not going to impress.

They make good enough watches for the price point. Can be a little rough around the edges in terms of finishing. Style/design wise I would say they are less of a homage in appearance and more a 1 to 1 copy.

Excellent taste and a really nice small collection. If I had the same goals as yourself I would probably get a Longines Spirit Zulu time 39mm for a GMT. Second choice would be harder, I like the idea of them all being different brands so possibly a chronograph from Breitling or a dive watch from Blancpain.
