Scottish, in my 50's and I prefer 20th century styling & design for my watches. Have no preference over movement type, Quartz or mechanical they both have pro's & cons. For me, a watch is for telling the time, if I can't read the time on it then I don't care how expensive or pretty it is! Was an early adopter of the Apple Watch and used it daily for several years until I fell out of love with it and went back to traditional watches in 2022.
Timex digital, no idea which model as a child of the 70's/80's it would have been the cheapest available.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Watch snobbery is stupid!
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Seiko
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Patek Philippe Nautilus, sunburst blue dial with the date complication. Love the styling but well out of my price range and could never justify spending that sort of money on a watch even if i could afford it.
