Rolex Sub or Sea Dweller? [or neither?]

Sub for me. Why? It looks just like my beloved Pro Diver 😉

I’ve had the blue bezel sub on my wish list for a while. I can’t afford it, though (who can?), and I have pretty big wrists so a sea-dweller has been calling to me. Maybe a two tone? Maybe a deepsea with the blue dial? It’s all mostly wishful thinking anyway, I guess.

Haha, that's fair! We like what we like 😊 and we usually tend to collect many things, all with similar attributes as a result!

I hear ya - I tried the blue bezel Sub on, it's a beauty, expensive as you said, but also heavy. White gold feels pretty hefty on the wrist. Not that a DeepSea wouldn't, but it's misleading because you see the size and go "yeah, that's nice, let me put it on" and then you're hit with the mass 😜 I say try and find an AD that has them and put them on your wrist. See which one speaks to you. Regardless of how quickly you'll get "the call" at least you'll know which one sings to you the most 👍

Sub. It's lighter. More nimble

Weight definitely plays a big role. So a curveball question - would you wear a Sea Dweller IF it were made of titanium? 😊

I love the Sub with green bezel however the Sea Dweller sings to me. Slightly bigger diameter the only drawback on my wrist. However I was pleasantly surprised how well it wore when I tried it on. Very understated

Nice video! I liked the touch of history. I prefer without a cyclops so it's the no date sub for me. And I actually prefer the older sea dweller with no cyclops and small date window.

Plus an old citizen skyhawk ( can't find picture right now)

Plus a Christmas present to myself which I can't wear yet which is the Circula 500m Titanium sport diver which I'm quite excited about wearing!

Shown on rubber but it came with a titanium bracelet.

So as you can see I have that titanium bug!

And YES, to make a 5-10 min. long video I shoot over 100 Gb of footage because I'd rather have more than I need, and cut, than need more footage and then have to go back out and setup, etc. etc. (pretty time consuming) 😜

Unless I have a drastic change of heart, my very next watch will be an Omega Seamaster Diver 300 with the white dial on bracelet. I'm obsessed with that watch and will not rest until I get it, lol!

After that....it's SeaDweller time!
