Join us at Timeworks in Seattle U-Village for a WatchCrunch Sunday full of fun as we hang out and talk watches while also checking out some cool G-Shock surprises!
WHEN:
Sunday June 2nd
Event Start Time: 10:00AM
Post Event Food: 1:00PM
WHERE:
Event: Timeworks Ben Bridge U-Village
Post Event Food: Eureka! (right next to Timeworks)
WHAT:
This is a watch meetup hosted by Timeworks who are actually having a special G-Shock Trunk Show event at the same time as our watch meet! @JudyTimeworks will be opening the store doors one hour before the general public so we'll be able to check out the latest releases from G-Shock! What's more, the always awesome @FlatteryCamp has secured us an 18-person table at Eureka! which means we'll be able to continue the fun while also enjoying some food and drink (everyone is responsible for their own check) starting at 1:00PM and ending at 3:00PM. I'll be attending and will also be documenting the event (like last year, link below if you're curious what to expect) and you're all invited to partake! So sign up 🥳
Tagging a few folks for vis: @Mr.Santana | @Max | @Fieldwalker
Here's what our last event looked like:
Hi! I'm The Timist - I make video games so I can spend my $ on watches, and then make videos of said...

Thanks for the invitation. I think i'm a fish outta water when it comes to events like this. I really didn't know about all the different watches that were out there and i'm coming to realise that my small collection is nothing compared to you all,and definitely not show off worthy. I will think about it,but in the meanwhile should someone want to show up they can have my place. Duane...........Black Diamond, WA. 98010

It’s not about the collection or showing off, it’s about having a great time meeting new people, looking at watches and enjoying our shared hobby regardless of what’s on the wrist or safely stored at home 🤗 you’re welcome to join if you have the time and change your mind my friend 👍
Thanks so much. Ill try to make it. Duane......Black Diamond, WA. 98010
Cool!
Drive sucks - but the meet ups rock 🍻
Putting on it the calendar now, I’ll plan to come (unless I can’t 😉)

Wow, I’ll be in Seattle on that weekend. Anyone else from the Vancouver area will be there?
🤔 do I wear a gshock to the gshock event? Decisions, decisions

I’ll be honest, I’m having that same dilemma 😄

Only left with one choice then… double wristing 💪⌚️

I've never done it, but it may indeed be the only choice! Folks are expecting me to wear the Snoopy, and because it's a G-Shock event I probably should wear one of those too 😜
I wanted to emphasize that @JudyTimeworks was a gracious partner for the first WatchCrunch event she held at the store she manages in the University Village shopping center.
As a fellow Cruncher Judy stepped up to accommodate this group in a very tangible way and I had a great time as a guest in her store and in her city.
Timeworks is providing a unique function in the Seattle watch space and is staffed by enthusiasts who bring much to the customer service experience. It is definitely worth a visit when in the Seattle area.
IMO Judy's first WatchCrunch gathering was a real success and in my view worth regularly repeating.
In keeping it real (like I do) the fact that WatchCrunch wasn't able to offer any assistance or giveaways beforehand increased the need to hustle by those organizing the first Timeworks meetup so I'm pleased to hear that Max has committed to helping James out with that stuff on this go around.
If you've organized a WatchCrunch event you know how much time, energy and money it can take to make it happen so WatchCrunch contributing a few trinkets as door prizes really helps out.

I'm looking forward to it - like you said the last one we did was a lot of fun, I got a chance to meet folks face to face and check out some cool watches (while having a laugh) and that's the essence really - the people and the community talking shop 🤝
Supporting each other is important - I have faith the turnout and the experience will be good ❤
Now, should I rock Snoopy on left and G-Shock on right? 😜
Looks like the Seattle area enthusiasts got it handled this time around. Good job!
See y'all there!

you can double-wrist it. Or go low key & wear a trench coat w/ a dozen watches on the inside.

I'm sure there will be more events during the summer, but this one's on the books so far that's locked in place 👍
