I got bad news for you guys, but gold accents have been a thing for a few years now. Maybe it’s because you aren’t old enough for gold, but fashion trends come back around. So you’ll be seeing a lot of things you think are for old people on young people. 
That said, don’t give in!  Sure, you can’t stop aging, but what you can do is stubbornly refuse to change. Don’t be that old guy trying too hard to look cool, be that old guy still rocking his high school style.

I grew up around old geezers wearing gold watches and two-tone watches, and they were unrepeatable word towards each other and dudes not wearing gold so yeah, not fond of two tone watches because of those experience.

I never like gold or accents and will not wear anything that’s related, but it does look good on some folks. It also kinda makes anything look gaudy. But that’s just me.

That being said, I bought a Gshock GBA-400-1A9 in 2014/15. I thought it’ll look good on me but TOO MUCH GOLD and way too shiny. What was I thinking?? HAHAHAHAHA
