What do you think of the Hamilton Ventura?

I've been a Hamilton fan for years and currently own 3. Never had a Ventura despite Elvis.

To me it is one of the ugliest watches ever.

But I still love Hamilton.

Chacon a son gout.

Downright one of the ugliest? I don't know, I find an originality and a charm in it that you can't find anywhere else. There is no accounting for taste at the end of the day haha

I had one for years and loved it! A lot of comments from non watch lovers.

I absolutely enjoy the watch, and the many designs that it comes in. I actually had this on in my sites for a while, but she ended up being the one that got away. Elvis inspired men in Black featured definitely almost made me take the plunge maybe in the future I’ll grab one.

I mean, I understand that it can repel people but we have to admit that on a wrist it has a lot of presence

It's by far not my purchasing priority but in a world where I have the money it's worth considering 👀

The is the Hamilton Ventura Year of the Dragon edition.

I think it's an iconic piece of mid century design. Not just because Elvis and MIB. I will probably get one, though I would get the quartz, just because it is the closest to the original electric watch design. Definitely the black with the steel case.

I had one briefly but I'm left handed and it bugged me that the triangle was pointing the wrong way. 😂

On my list, I prefer the classic style as opposed to the chunky modern looking one. Such a unique piece

Every time I see it I want to wear two of them, reversed so that the watch head is on the inside of my wrists, imagine they're full of web fluid and that I can thwip webs out of the crowns. But that's probably just me.

I searched for a longtime for a vintage model that was worth restoring but availability and price was absurd, gave up sometime in the 90s except for the Elvis and Blue Hawaii movie connection to my youth, cannot embrace any of the myriad modern iterations. Not tempted by Hamilton; my older daughter wanted to return an automatic Khaki that her mom and I gifted to her when she was in high school said that it no longer fitted her hectic corporate lifestyle working finance, haha.

I'm glad Hamilton makes-out there and original watches, I just don't want to wear them. But I own at least one Hamilton.

If the style works for you, why not source a pre owned one and save some serious coin?

I think it looks like wearing the side mirror from a '57 Chevy on your wrist, which as I understand, is the point so... Yeah, mission accomplished on that one. 😬

I like it and would buy. Though they took the original Movement out and tossed an automatic in.

I absolutely love the Ventura. I wish Hamilton would do some re-issues of its electric mid-century Pacer models. Very similar to the Ventura, but without the bat-wings.

I like Hamilton watches. I have a Khaki Field automatic and a Below Zero automatic. The Ventura is nice and worn by Elvis!!! It is a conversation piece and very cool. Plus, there are some nice special editions too. Buy it!!

Man, I love it. I get that it puts some people off, but the watch has presence and it's a conversation piece as well. The squeleton automatic looks out of Batman's toolkit. Sick🔥

The Ventura is a great bit of unique art. Not really my style but super unique and stunning nonetheless.
