New obsession

I tried this little beauty a few days ago and I can't stop thinking about it...

But hey, 8500e ? With only 50m wr ? Even if it's titanium it's still a bit expensive

What do you think ?

Well, in my personal experience, if I REALLY like something, I find I end up getting it anyway even if there are things such as price that make it seem not worth it. In the end scratching that itch is the most satisfying resolution. So I say go for it if there is nothing else you want, BUT with one caveat: WAIT ONE MONTH BEFORE BUYING. If you then still want it, go for it!

Water resistance is hardly indicitive of quality. It's fine for everyday use. This is hardly a watch that anyone would wear in the water.

A Patek Phillippe Nautilus cost substantially more than this and no one calls out its 60m W/R

·

How does it wear and how big is your wrist?

·

I think it's worth it, especially after a discount. I own another Revival and have enjoyed it tremendously. I don't dive so WR means nothing to me. I'd buy a Shadow in a heartbeat.

·

A hesalite Speedy is 7500€. The Zenith is a screaming bargain in comparison.

·

I think watches are aspiration items. If it calls out to you. It might make sense to save up for it

·

it's friggin' gorgeous, but definitely pricey. Still, if I had that kind of disposable income, no doubt I'd buy one

Good advice. Really good

It’s expensive for sure. But if you can wait a while a pre-owned will pop up and you can get a good discount I suspect

I love this design by Zenith and this is stealth look is really really nice. Looks great on your wrist as well.

·

I love that watch 🔥🔥🔥

·

I think you can absolutely get it much cheaper. It’s a stunning watch. And I’m not even into that stealth look so much, but they’ve nailed it

·

The watch is sleek and beautiful. I doubt you will need more than 50m of water resistance for the pool bar (4' maybe). Your Yema can handle the heavy lifting relative to WS.

If you love the watch and can afford it, buy it...

·

Fantastic watch. Serious looker.

·

Tried one on in store after never having thought much of it and completely fell in love with it. It wore beautifully and made me consider tonneau as a “must have” shape for the collection! I feel it’s a bit over-priced at retail, though, but that’s just me. I haven’t looked into what you can get on Zenith, discount-wise.

well currently I am very far from this purchasing power haha but I look at it like I look at a speed, navytimer or seamaster 300.. a sweet dream

shit I admit to never having made the comparison with the nautilus I assumed that for a sporting piece the 100m was the minimum 😬but it's true that if I had it there would be no world where it would go in the water

This will be a long answer, hope it helps. I had the same experience, I went to a Zenith event and instantly fell in love with that model, I tried it on and it was perfect. BUT THE PRICE was a complete turn off. I couldn't get the Revival Shadow out of my mind so I did this: I have many rules regarding my collection and one of them is to not own 2 very similar watches, in this case, 2 all black watches.

I have the Seiko SPB253J1 Black Series, so I started the comparison:

The Seiko won the price, resistance, limited edition, and water resitance battles. That made me think that I have it all regarding an all black watch.

Is my Seiko a fair comparison to the Zenith? Maybe for a lot of folks it isn't, but to me it was, and on paper the Seiko won but a mile.

Have I totally forgot and dismissed the Zenith Revival Shadow? In a way... but nonetheless is a watch I would gladly own, just not while I have my Seiko Black Series.

The seiko is sleek and fire as well! but it's a total different style of watches

Anyway it's not like I can buy it anytime soon

It's going to stay in the back of my mind until I can consider a second hand at -40%

That's why I bought my Tudor Pelagos FXD Alinghi Redbull Racing Edition. It looks great and has 200m water resistance with an automatic chronograph movement. And it's cheaper.

Also really really nice but total different spirit esthetic

·

That’s a looker. Love the fit as well. Oh, and what’s inside. Tremendous

Sometimes the advertisers won’t list under the exact model name or number. To capture all of them I look under zenith el primero, then filter to black dial, function chronograph, year click on 2021 to now and go through them you will find it
