What’s On Your List For 2023?

OK, talking about what you would like to buy/aquire in 2023? Topping my list right now is the Norqain Neverest GMT followed by the Bell & Ross BR-X5. I am hopeful to get one of those. Of course Rolex is on the list, Batgirl, Air King, 41mm Green OP, any of those will “work”, but we all know that story.

So what do you hope to get this coming year?

Usual Rolex, but I'm also interested 2 microbrands Scurfa and Stirling

·

For me it’s the Cartier Santos. It was my next watch purchase but last week the AD called and said the BBPro was here. So I had to push the Santos back a few months..

Anyway wish everyone a great 2023!

·

A Zelos when I get my notification and a Helm. Patiently waiting

·

Speedmaster Professional is my 2023 purchase.

·

Gold tissot prx 35mm

·

If IWC relaunches the original Ingenieur in 2023, I’ll be the first one to call my nearest AD to get one. I’m also looking forward to possibly a new Omega Railmaster.

I will also most likely buy a GMT watch, as I’ll spend some weeks abroad in a different time zone. I just don’t know which one yet

·

Rolex Air King, Nomos Metro and Tudor Black Bay.

·

Hopefully an Omega Aqua Terra.

Really fancy a Tissot PRX powermatic too

·

Probably a Grand Seiko. Still narrowing down which one.

·

Longines Legend Diver 36mm, might get lucky and find a used one in great condition 🤞🏽

·

Something square! Tank/Monaco/B&R all options!

·

Traska Commuter

·

Tissot prx 35 mm auto hopefully.

·

For 2023, I am going with less is more.   I’m sure at least one of these will land in the collection in 2023:

Longines Spirit Zulu Time GMT

Tissot PRX Chronograph

Seiko Alpinist (preferably the SARB017)

Bulova Accutron Spaceview 214

… and I’m gonna need a watch winder that holds 4-6 watches.

Let‘s start there….  🤪

·

Those Norqain GMTs look awesome!

For me, it's a 3 hander Breitling Navitimer 8.

·

I’m keeping a lookout for a good second hand Cartier Santos.

·

Might be a quiet one for me this year, possibly 1 watch middle in the middle of the year. No idea what, looking for something causal and colourful, or a two tone sports watch.

·
Intred

Tissot prx 35 mm auto hopefully.

me too! lets hope for that new mint green dial from the 40mm quartz!! 🙏🙏🙏

·

I'm going to keep looking at Stimpson of London (UK based website) has in the way of old Citizen and Ricoh automatics.

If I'm good Mrs Skinflint may let me have one!

·

This year, I'm going to try and not be so cheap. My list includes:

Gshock Gw 9400

Gshock GWG 1000

Bulova Lunar Pilot

Hamilton Khaki Field automatic

Those are not grail watches. I can afford them. I'm just usually to cheap to buy them.

·

Bonne année !

J'aimerais Sinn, Tutima, Hanhart, Tudor Pelagos LHD, Grand Seiko,...

Mais il va me falloir travailler très dur, vendre énormément de montres ou autres accumulations.

Et prier. Beaucoup prier.😉😁

This year, I'm hoping to get rid of a few watches I no longer wear.

On the list for 2023 would be a metal G-shock (likely a square or a casioak, haven't decided as there are way too many options), and if the price is right, an explorer 16570 polar or 116710LN.

And maybe if Grand Seiko finally does a microadjust bracelet...

·

The only specific model that is on my list is the not yet launched Bulova 43mm Lunar Pilot.

I'm also interested lo see what will be the 2023 releases from Zelos.

·

I have already worked out what I am buying this year but it will never go to plan as usual.  I have to limit myself to 5 as last yesr I must be purchased over 25!!  Yeah I know I am crazy. So on the list this year, if I can find them will be a breguet rose gold marine (the discontinued version), IWC amg Petronas as I have one coming, I already have an independent watch being built for me that will be reqay this month after a yesr of waiting and hopefully I get a call for a datejust 41mm that I really like.

Fingers crossed.

·

Would love to add a salmon dial piece. Nothing in particular yet, but the Farer Meredith is a strong candidate. Got to work on my cash fund though. 😉

·

Hopefully I’ll be able to complete the Grand Seiko movement trifecta.  Spring drive and quartz down, mechanical to go!

Plus I have a Baltic MR01 salmon dial on order for delivery in June.

You found me out!

·

The Casio G-Shock Frogman and The G-Shock MTG 3000 series are on my list for 2023 so depending on work and the economy maybe I'll be able to afford them heh.
