Highlander Rules:

There can be only one.

Dreaming of a new grail. I love all three, but I do love one that little bit more I think. My wife likes one, my son another, and I picked the remainder. As you can tell, we have such harmony in unity in my family!😭 Thought I might ask the Crunchers to add even more chaos to that sweet, delicious, entirely unnecessary agony of trying to decide on what, may very well be, my first and last luxury watch. In a few years time. Perhaps. 😅

Remember, just one!😉 Dems da rules!

Thank you my fellow Crunchers, all hail a new grail!

·

I just love the GS Mist Flake so very much. It’s hard to put down once you see it in the metal. It’s also nice to have a GS with some decent lume! I love how they use both green and blue lume too.

·

Three amazing choices so whatever you pick will be a great choice. I picked the Seamaster because I have it on my list but you need to pick what best suits your lifestyle.

·

Hard choice

·

Omega McCloud of the Clan McCloud

·

I'm staring at the GS for my 40th, so...I might be kinda biased.

·

This is a grail for you, right? Not me. Okay then I pick "C".

·

Love them all, but I can’t stop looking at the AT SS.

·

B, C, A

·

Ahh so your in a strong position to get at least 2! Get the one your wife said to get then once you have it harp after the one you wanted. Your wifes gilt will lead you to the boutique!

·

There isn't a bad choice here, but I'm team Spring Drive GMT all the way. It's unreasonably accurate, highly usable, impressively finished, and so comfy on the wrist.

The only thing it has going against it, for me, is the price

·

Omega fan here, but that GS is something! @TheHoroSexual ‘s pictures sealed it for me. I’d choose that one.

·

One of the nice things about having a large collection is telling your wife " new watch? No honey, I've had this for awhile"...😳

·

AT small sec is my choice. Let me guess, wife went with GS, Son with SM300 and you with AT small seconds.

·

I have an AT and a SMPc chrono. Both kick ass but there’s something very special about the AT. It makes you look two or three times. It’s prob the knmybwatch I ever bought where I intended to buy something else but got sucked into the beauty of the AT.

The gs is sweet but I’m not a spring drive guy.

·

If price is also part of the consideration, the AT offers the least value here. For some reason Omega priced its AT line at a premium against its own Seamaster 300 and 600 line. Quite a few industry insiders I consulted told me the modern average Seamasters cost more to make than the AT, with better water resistance and Metas certifications. In addition, this particular AT model has a design that kind of controversial: small second hand on a sporty casual watch, then added a date window at 6 o’clock to disturb the design. It’s just trying too hard to be unique.

·

Easy. Seamaster Aqua Terra!

·

Hard to tell not knowing your current collection, your lifestyle...

I would go for the aquaterra.

Utterly, utterly gorgeous- (this was my choice too!) ✨☺️

·

Got to be the Grand Seiko. You are getting an innovative spring drive movement, a GMT complication and a lovely dial. Only problem will be the what if factor once you have chosen.😂

·

I have an AT and I absolutely adore it, but I voted for the Mistflake. I tried one on over a year ago and I still think about it often.

I think one of those is in my future.

My wife chose the AT, my son the Diver and I’m currently in love with the GS! ✨☺️ Won’t be taking the plunge for a while. Have to waiting to see lust becomes love first!

I think your wife has a good eye for watches. Both of those are good watches. AT is more elegant and versatile. GS has more technically advanced engine.

·

The more beautiful the watches, the more difficult the choice! But after long deliberation, I gave my twopence in the poll: my choice falls on the Omega.

·

I have the 300 and AT without the SS....I would like the SS please.

Don't like the dial on the GS.

Give me some silver coins lol.

I choose the GS and here’s why: given the choices you want to one watch collection you wanted to be able to do everything or at least the most out of the current lineup. I wanna also put a disclaimer and say that if you’re leaning towards one of these watches, go with what your heart says. A good way to decide this is to give yourself a month or two and see which one you keep on coming back to. What are your wife says or what your son says doesn’t really factor because that’s their taste in their decision. I would also say that what other users on this platform say shouldn’t factor because again, everyone has different tastes. To me the grand Seiko has the ability to tell time in multiple zones easily switch between time zones and has a Goods screwdown crown while also being made of titanium which resists corrosion. I’m not a huge fan of the bracelet or the lug with, or the dial on the face so my second choice would be the aqua terra. I still think Francisco has a few design and stylistic choices that they need to iron out before I’m ready to buy one but the rate at which companies are coming up with new Watches it shouldn’t take very long.

Thank you for the sound advice! It’s exactly the approach I’m taking! I’m not in any rush to buy and will wait and see. ✨👍🏼
