Naussica is a great flick, quite old now but a classic ghibli in style and plot.
I was tempted by this one as well, needed my daughter’s opinion on it, but she wasn’t sold.
I think they did the collaboration well though, subtle : weathered case, blue cabochon, the uniform symbol - it’s like a watch one of the characters would wear.
If I’m able to see it, I might still pick one up 🙂
That dial looks a bit flat in those pictures, but maybe those are only renders. The details are subtle and suit the movie well, I like it. If they release some pictures of the watch in natural light, that dial could show how its finish is really like.

Of the tie ins, I think I like the Porco Rosso Seiko the best so far. I didn’t even know there was a Laputa collaboration as well, probably my favourite Ghibli of all.
