I'm not much for bracelets either. They're just not very comfortable to me. They don't give or stretch, they don't breathe well, and they're not so easy to adjust on the fly compared to a strap. On my little wrist the end links often fit funny, even female end links. They're just not made with smaller wrists in mind.
Looks-wise, they're a bit gaudy to my eye, and they make a watch look so one-note. All personal opinions, of course.
Ironically, the only bracelets I will actually wear are the cheap, sliding-clasp Casio style ones, so I probably don't know what I'm talking about anyway! ๐
I feel like the difference between a summer watch and any other watch is just a a strap change. That said, the thicker watches do come out a bit more in the summer because no jacket cuffs.
I know, right?! ๐ I'm obsessed!
It's the perfect size for anyone with a wrist around or under 6". There's also a slightly bigger Baby-G, the BGD-5000 at 40mm, that would be spot on for the 6" to 7" range. That one keeps the 200m WR. Both are great options if a standard square is a bit too much chonk.
Last I checked, Sakura Watches had all the colors of these multi-band Baby squares.
