Which of these divers gets the most watch nerd cred?

That is really tough! Definitely a tie between the Sinn and the Seiko for me. The omega is awesome but pretty mainstream. Most random people wouldn't even know what the Sinn was and would also think that the Seiko is just a normal $300 watch. 🤣

I have to go with the Seiko! Omega has always drifted in the land of luxury watches with a minority using them as the tools they were destined to be. Seiko is the polar opposite, with their durability and cost effectiveness bettering Bulova, while occasionally drifting into the realm of luxury!

Love the Sinn hands, the Seiko dial is lush and Omega is Omega, I would still have the Seiko anytime

·

I have a U1 and a 2254 of the SMP - not a Seiko fan. I’d say that the SMP is more recognised (Bond etc) but the U1 is one of those IYKYK watches so for me, that wins.

·

B, only for those who knows. A & C left nothing to nerding about.

·

You have a regional/collector brand, Sinn, from Germany, known for aviation themed watches - and it's a diver. Defintely the Sinn IMO.

·

Out of these, B. But can I add an option D, the Citizen Promaster?

·

These three are like cat nip to me I’ve collected omega watches all my adult life and have had two of this particular model a black and a blue and they are the best watch out of the three but I love and collect seiko divers and my collection is now mostly seiko divers and the mm300 is top tier and at the moment missing from my collection. I’ve not had a sinn u1 but I’ve currently got a fully tegamented u50 SDR and it’s one of my favourite watches ever I’ve had a Ux and a U2 and again amazing watches. I’d hate to have to choose just one but the seamaster has the history and versatility over the Seiko just but the sinn has the specs over them both but true to form if there is a choice and one is omega I will always go omega

Omega by miles , obviously.

Doubt many outside our hobby have heard of Sinn, and Seiko don't have the kudos Omega have with the general public.

Almost everybody know about Omega and Seiko. But Sinn is something a non-watch nerd would know very little of.
