I've got a simple question for you; How often are you wearing your dressier watches?
For me, I was doing it for about 2 days a week, for a while. I like that you can dress down most dressier watches, and my vintage Glycine Vacuum always felt fine to wear when I had my regular street clothes on. However, I've not been gravitating towards dress watches as of late, regardless of the rest of my clothing.
As an aside, I think that the Casio A168 is a great dress watch/casual watch for the money. Really a very smart looking timepiece!
So how about you? How often do you wear yours?
Hi there! I'm a writer in the outdoor world, and watches have been a recent passion of mine. I'm someone with a fairly small collection, so expect to see a lot of the same watches in my posts.

Every so often.
More than most
On rotation, as much as any other style.
I don't even own any.
3 to 4 times per week.
And I’ve got to say this, sorry: a Casio A168 is not a dress watch!
Every time I wear a dress shirt, which is almost every weekday. Just a lot more comfortable under a cuff... However I have an A 158w too, which works equally well.
I’m retired so not much need to get dressed up. Two of my twelve watches are dress watches and I wear them about three days a month
Out of 365 days a year maybe 10 days total. Blue collar for work and life haha. Live on a lake, party on the lake and eat on the lake so pretty much on permanent vacation.
I own two watches one is my Casio A168 it’s like my beater watch and my Omega Moonswatch for more dressier formal occasions.

I rarely wear my dress watch
Between 5-7 times a week. They are just watches.
Pretty much every day.
Once in a blue moon
wear dressier watch when i feel its gonna be a day where i wont injure the watch and when i have a formal party
As much as I can.
I usually switch to one in the evening. I almost never “dress up” to warrant the watch, and only do it because I like the change from a more utilitarian looking dial all day to a lovely little looker on the wrist with the evening cocktail and dinner with family and my own pleasure.
Warning - old guy comment: when I retired I pretty much lost interest in dress watches. I actually sold mine. I only wear dive/field/tool watches. I have two blingy dive watches I use as dress watches. And I charge $100 , cash up front, to wear a tie.
I have one dress watch that I wear mostly on quiet evenings at home. That used to be once or twice a week but I have started to realize Im maybe not much of a dress watch person.
So I have started to gravitate towards wearing a non-dress watch and then dressing it up instead with a nice strap as it feels more genuine towards the person I am.
While the contrast of putting a dainty dress piece on a cave man such as myself is fun and all, Im mostly into my more rugged pieces.
About once or twice a week.
