I'm very ambivalent about the gentrification of tool watches. On one hand, who else will buy expensive wrist accessories that lost their purpose decades ago? On the other hand, I look at models that used to be worn as tools of trade by professionals and I can't stop myself thinking that tarting up a tool watch is simply wrong.
