Wednesday I purchased a Doxa Professional 300T, so so pleased with it, it’s been on my list for a while. Pulled the trigger. Happy Christmas 👍
Friday I went into town with my wife, coffee, lunch last minute Xmas nonsense purchases. Wife goes into Marks & Spencer food hall. I wait outside. Somehow in a blink of an eye I am in goldsmiths 🤦♂ I notice my Doxa is cast a side, I look down and I see a TUDOR Black Bay Master Chronometer Burgundy 41mm Jubilee bracelet, on my wrist. My mouth moves and I can hear myself giving my details, I shake hands and I walk out.
I immediately see my wife staring 🤬. I just look at the floor fall in next to her, take the bags and walk silently back to the car.
I have signed up to watches anonymous on Thursday nights.

Reminds me of the time I bought a Seamaster 300 and a Tudor Heritage Ranger in the space of a few weeks. I thought, "WTF are you DOING?!" But it's also true that I didn't buy any major watches at all for quite some time after! So that was kind of a bonus? LOL.
That'll teach her for taking you shopping with her 😅 if you'd just been allowed to sit at home and watch a film...

As long as you can afford it and it brings joy - then no worries IMO. You only live once and life is short. Be happy.

That Burgundy Tudor Black bay is one of the very few red/burgundyish colors I really like on a watch.
In the metal it is stunning, the pictures do it no justice. And the bracelet with the T fit clasp is probably the best available at any price point IMO. I preferred the Tudor jubilee to the Rolex.

I don’t think photos do any beautiful time pieces justice. I almost feel like the more profession the photos, the more of the soul it takes from the watch.

That’s normal. You haven’t got to addiction level yet. That Tudor is the only Tudor I’d consider. Hate those hands but that bezel colour …
