The best Seamaster?
Just a recent love affair with this seamaster lead me to take it in trade (explorer is sadly gone).
So far this watch is striking, and the case is surprisingly thin, not like the new ones.
Anyway, is this the best (modern ish) seamaster?

I got mine 2 months ago. Still in the honeymoon phase! The proportion are on point and the bracelet is excellent!

I had this black one, sold it cause it seemed a bit too bland to me but it was super comfortable and sleek. I ended up replacing it with the electric blue verison of this Peter Blake. Two of the most unique models they've made.

I personally consider this design to be the best of the Seamaster Professional. The newer iterations are great, but tend to be a bit too thick. In addition, I'm not a fan of the skeleton hands on the newer versions. I have a 2255.80 with the "electric blue" dial, which is very similar to yours.

Definitely the best generation of modern seamaster. I have been really tempted by the titanium version. The complete lack of microadjusts is holding me back though. What can’t Omega make a thin watch anymore!?
I’ve absolutely fallen in love with the Peter Blake’s! The green modern SMP has been on my list, but every time I see this reference it makes me want to change my mind… congrats on adding it to your collection!
Wow, some very nice Seamasters for sure.. I must say your big triangle is my favorite of the bunch….again the thinness of it… I happen to own a vintage Seamasters, 60’s “dress” and an early 70’s chrono. Never go wrong with a Seamaster
This is one of my favourite Seamaster a… the hands and markers are perfection imo

I own the 2252 (midsize) and the 36mm Explorer and they paired quite nicely in my collection. Ironically I previously owned the 2123 midsize (co-axial) and comparing the two, I actually prefer the 2252. Yes, the 2123 had the more “advanced” co-axial movement, applied markers, and more textured wave dial (my favorite!) but I actually found the dial on the 2252 easier to read due to the sword hands and massive lumed markers. Also, the 2252 looked less Submariner-Ish with its markers, which (for me) was the main intent behind my purchase of this diver. Either way, the Seamaster 300 collection is fantastic overall!… now if they only get rid of the date window 😏

I love it. You are absolutely right about the thickness of the new ones. I have the 300m white dial, which is much bigger. Your watch is very elegant.
