"Wow"! This Duro is fuego!

I, like many of you have heard endless praise about this $50 banger. The hype is real! It might be recency bias but I am extremely impressed with the look of this piece. The stock rubber strap is atrocious but luckily I had a 22mm jubilee bracelet that fits like a glove. I'm going to Hawaii early next month and I'm definitely gonna rock this while I'm swimming in the ocean. If you are thinking of purchasing this watch and are waiting for that extra push to pull the trigger... here it is.

Also, you can still get the NOS MDV106 with the marlin on the dial and caseback from Amazon. I would assume there is tons of inventory available, but I don't actually know that for certain. The newer MDV107 removed the marlin logo from the dial and caseback. I last ordered a blue dial/bezel version from Amazon in May and it was still the old MDV106 version.
I modded mine with a single dome sapphire crystal, jubilee bracelet and a Submariner-style bezel insert. Mods were probably about as much as the cost of the watch, or more, but it's the journey that you're after and not just the desitnation.
For the money, it's a really fun watch that looks great.
I wear mine as often as my Seamaster.

If you can wear it because it's a very big watch (looks very good on you btw) then this Duro is an amazing diver for splash fun! Enjoy it! Wish I had a bigger wrist to enjoy it again! This bracelet looks very class!

Took it out, put it in bleach. Rubbed it with a cotton swab. After that i sanded the edges a bit.
