Men and pink watches! Ok?

Hi guys!

First time post, long time scroller.

I have been on my doom scrolling of watches and articles Saturday night and come across the limited edition CHRONOMASTER SPORT PINK.

And well! I’m struck by it.

It’s listed as ladies but carries all the same measurements as the typical chronomaster sport. I’ve never particularly seen colour as something that differentiates gender in watches, more size and even the occasional crystal or diamond.

So here is my question! What are your guys opinions of pink watches for men?!

If you like it, go for it 👍

No issue with pink and men. I don’t have a pink watch but I would have one if I liked the overall watch (I do like this one!). I have other pink clothing/accessories like ties, socks, trousers so watch would be fine. #realmenwearpink

Wear it with confidence, looks cool.

·

Imo pink on a man is perfectly fine in moderation and this watch fits the bill, I'd definitely rock it!

·

Wear what you want, and if I saw you out wearing it I'd just think well done for making an unusual choice.

·

Great!

Looks awesome

An article titled “Pink or Blue,” published in the trade journal The Infants’ Department in 1918, said that the generally accepted rule is pink for boys and blue for girls. “The reason is that pink being a decided and stronger color is more suitable for the boy,” it said. The switch came after that but there is no exact date, maybe that helps over being reserved towards a colour… 😁

I used to wear pink Oxford cloth button down shirts with dark business suits, caught crap from some senior guys in the company, lectured that you do not wear button down shirts with somber suits, lol. I would buy the watch but with a wife and two daughters who enjoy walking off with my watches not comfortable spending a quite substantial sum of dollars for a watch that will be available for me to slip on only occasionally.

·

Why wouldn’t it be?

·

Wear what you like. It's a great looking watch

·

I'm all for this! 😄 and no issue at all with men wearing pink 👍

·

Real men wear pink 😌

·

That's actually a great looking watch. For any watch with a fairly conventional design, color is the only real differentiator. And there tons of great color dials out there. I've not been a huge fan of pink or salmon color dials, but quite honestly, this Zenith is really sharp. I say ... enjoy it!

·

If you like it and comfortable to wear it, go for it.

·

First off, that watch is dope, no questions just straight up cool. Secondly, pink is awesome, I wish there were more men's watches that were pink. If that Rolex pink OP came in a 39-41mm wow that would be the only watch I wore, as it stands I've got the pink Rowing Blazers Seiko 5 because there simply aren't enough pink watches. I say hell yeah, definitely do it!

·

I’d get it, it’s actually very striking and wearable and like we all say forget the hype wear what you like 😊

There is no more men and women in this f...ed world amigo. So who can say something is for one or the other?

I have long loved pink shirts... Pink watches per se, I am not there yet. However, I can totally see myself wearing this with a gray Armani suit and a pink dress shirt, or a white dress shirt and pink pocket square. Either way, it would be a niche watch for me.

My only issue with this watch is that when I think El Premiero I think Tri colored sub dials. How hot would this watch be with a silver and grey subdial next to the pink?

I have twin girls…. When they were babies we used to dress them similarly but not identically. One day we had them out in a matching outfit one wearing pink the other light blue. And old couple comes up to us and asks us this your son (points to pink child) and is this your daughter? (Points to blue child)

We said no they are both girls

The couple was from Poland, according to them in Poland the girls always wear blue and the boys always wear pink. Customs vary

We do what we like in my house.

Really? I gotta verify this next time I am in Warsaw.

Love the color pink 💗.

  1. Wear whatever you like

  2. I think it looks great and would wear one myself

  3. Then again, I’m forever posting this as an example of a “ladies” watch I want…

I have a few pink work shirts and this would seriously rock with them.

Defo. im trying to bring back classic smart wear to the office. Im done with scruffy looking gear. Colour in watches is a great way to pop a suit

·

Just call it Salmon dial instead of pink and buy it if the name bothers you haha 😆

·

Only unsecure men are scared of this.

Just a quick fact, but pink was the colour for boys/babies back in the early 1900s. And blue was for girls.

I’m only going by the story of one elderly Polish couple…. But that’s what we were told.

·

Go for it!

·

As with all dial colors that aren't black or white, it probably strongly depends on the rest of your outfit wether the watch fits or not.

·

It’s a cool watch. If I had the extra $ I’d buy it. Pink is cool!!!

·

I wear pink shirts all the time and would definitely own a pink dial watch.
