White Ceramic watches…

Question :

.. while looking online I’ve come across this lovely. Which drives me to my next question for you guys! White ceramic watches whatcha think?!

Context and background :

My last post questioned if a pink zenith was gender nutural after some UK ADs marked it as a female watch… the response… who cares what they say! Get it if you like it!…

Now sadly the limited edition passed me by… by time I got over my initial questioning it’d had gone.

So search continues.

Now while looking online I’ve come across this lovely. Which drives me to my next question for you guys! White ceramic watches whatcha think?!

I’ve generally in my short watch collections journey been drawn to steel, something about the weight and shine. As much as the initial spring drive sweep got me, the titanium just didn’t click with me… but feeling like I’m looking for something a little bit different (the pink zenith, the white speedy) I’m still drawn to this all the same! What are you guys thinking?

It came up in the recent talking watches with Ed Sheeran and John Mayer… they suggested they’re a bit of a statement… are they?

I wouldn't wear it but I'm not buying it.

Chacon a son gout.

I think that Tiger King guy wore a white watch. I wouldn't. Maybe if one is in the medical field, but otherwise it give off a subtropical narcotic or geriatric vibe of which I'm just not a fan.

I do like a different look, but not this one. Maybe because the Mrs has a couple of white ceramic DKNYs and the Chanel J12 is a likely purchase sometime soon. If she gets a diver it would be the Vostok with a white dial.

The Farer Bernina I could go for, it has enough colour added to the white to give it a bit of a twist.

It’s too white for me. Maybe if it had a different, non-white strap that would help. But probably not.

Too white. Too big. Too fragile.

·

I like it. Not everything needs to be silver, black and blue

·

Too white and probably too much $$$!

Stainless steel is the ideal case material for watches. I think that’s settled based on the numbers. Ceramic fractures and is thrown out.

My lifestyle would have that sumbich gray in no time, a real shame because that looks HOT.

Also I bet anything ceramic like that is just immediately out of my price range
