Do you have a specific watch you wear to bed?

I used to wear my San Martin bronze tuna as the lume is great. Until I bought a SKMEI from Aliexpress for £6, I switch my mobile phone off at night. Apologies for the poor image, it illuminates too briefly for the mobile to sort out an exposure.

I often wear my Marathon Navigator to bed, it has tritium, and is on an Erika's strap for comfort.

I wear whatever’s on my wrist befor I go to bed.

Am I the only one who thinks it’s weird to wear your watch to bed?

Nope, I imagine 87% voting no agree with you. I will never understand the idea of wearing a watch to bed, shower, etc. To each their own though.

·

No, watch comes off at night. If I wake and it's dark then I should be asleep, that's as close to the actual time that I need to know

·

I usually wear a Casio A168 if I'm in my lounge clothes but take any watch off before I go to bed.

·

Back when I thought I’d just be a one watch guy, I wore my submariner all the time basically and often while sleeping.

Now I don’t wear anything to bed usually. Maybe once I get a nice beater I like I’ll wear that to bed to the extent I feel the need lmao.

·

I don’t tend to wear a watch to bed. The last thing I need to know is it’s nearly time to get up for work 😅

·

Seldom I wear a watch to bed. But never a clunky Zelos bronze. Way to scared to hit my partner with it when I am turning around.

Depends but I always wear a smart device. Since I work from home helps me to check morning emails quick without grabbing my phone. If nothing urgent I can sleep few more minutes LOL. Almost always I wear my real watch on my left and the fitness band on my right for the same reason for notifications. Helps not trying to explain why I'm wearing two watches. I just say oh my right hand device? that's my fitness tracker.

·

Yes and no. I always take off my normal watch, but I always keep on my Garmin Fenix.

·

Yep

The Watch I decide to wear for the day I sleep in plus my Apple Watch on the other wrist. Lmao.

Usually I wear my g shock primarily because of the backlight and the alarm. It's loud enough for me to hear but not loud enough to wake anyone near me

·

I don't wear ANY watch to bed, let alone a "special" bed watch. That just sounds weird.

That said, I barely wear watches in the home at all. It seems pointless behaviour to me.

·

I wear my Casio AE-1200 because it's lightweight and has a good backlight, but the alarm isn't long/loud enough. I keep my F-91W on the nightstand as an alarm because it sounds louder and longer. I like to know the time when I wake up and it's nice not checking my phone to know it.

·

I don't wear anything to bed including watches.

·

Haha usually an apple watch cause of sleep and health apps monitoring, and the screen, but anything with illumination or lume if not, from casio seiko to omega or rolex

·

Mainly yes. Used to be my seiko baby tuna on a StrapCode bracelet, then my Oris pointer date on a leather strap. Now I find I tend to reach for my Seiko SUT fitted on a Forstner beads of rice. I find it to be ultimate mix of comfort and legibility (lume).

·

I usually wear my Seiko 5 if I have an appointment or something to go to in the morning. I think Seiko has some of the best loom and I'd rather see the time on my watch than on my blinding phone at 1 am.

·

Yes. GA 2100

·

I wear whatever watch that I put on to bed as well as shower etc. when I put it on it stays on until I change it for another ant then that one stays on. We buy these to wear them. If you can’t wear your watch everywhere what’s the point!!!

So you would change your Rolex and out in a Casio??? Wow

·

I, always sleep with a watch but I tend to avoid any digital ones because without glasses I can't see the time well... 🤓

Seiko are good bed watches (felt weird saying this haha) because they have good lumes and are comfortable specifically on leather.

Voilà!

·

I don’t consistently wear watches to bed but have been debating it more recently as I don’t love alarm clocks since they’re pretty bright. Tbd on my choice!

·

I didn't expect this many people to vote or comment.

Thank you

·

I have a ten-watch collection, so I wear 5 on each arm to bed at night. The advantages are all automatics get a boost wind, and security. No one is robbing them right of my arm.

you’re welcome.

Yes & no

Nowt specific, but a diver from the collection.

Really couldn't sleep without a watch on !
