Mini photoshoot

I started to take photos (with a camera, not my phone) in May and I quite like it, but I pretty much only shot birds and other wildlife. Yesterday, I...

My first dive watch!

Ever since getting into this hobby at the end of last year, dive watches hadn't really spoken to me. Recently, the Casio Duro caught my eye, partly be...

Which watch should I take?

Hi everyone! I'm going to my hometown for a day this week, and I would like to take only the watch on my wrist, just to keep it simple. The thing is, I'll go walk a trail in the woods in the afternoon...

Totally worth it in my opinion, except maybe the super pricey ones (but I can't afford them, so who am I to judge? 😅).

My favorite (for the last few months) has been the Rangeman, but why choose? 😉 The GMWB-5000MB-1 is 🔥 though. One day!

I usually travel to play music, so I tend to have a G-Shock on the wrist and one or two watches for the shows. It depends on the band I'm playing with, but it's most often my Timex Expedition North, Seagull 1963, Casio Duro or Pagani Moonwatch.

If I'm going for a weekend getaway, I almost always bring only a G-Shock. Either the GW-6900 or DW-5600.

Explorer I and Submariner for me, or if you must have a GMT, both Explorers!

Very nice! They remind me of Kuoe a little bit with the size and the railroad track pattern around the dial.

I'm pretty sure they're judgy until you start chatting and then maybe they change their mind if you're nice and a little bit knowledgeable about the watches you're looking at. :p

It's quite a long trip to go there, at least from Montreal, but I was lucky enough to go to play a show in a small town about an hour outside of Bordeaux. It was a real treat!!

Gladly! It's a place called Bijouterie Mornier in Bordeaux, France. They had a very nice selection of different brands, and even the super fancy clock that JLC make.

Water resistance?

Ok so a G-Shock has 20 atm water resistance. That's plenty to go swimming, and even diving it would seem (not that I plan to do so). What bugs me is t...

Do you prefer a hand-wound or an automatic movement?

Part of the reason why I'm into watches is the romantic idea of winding my watch every morning. That intimate, almost meditative time when it's just you and your watch; you set the time, you wind it,...
