Sleep with watch on or off?

Sleep with watch on?

Which watch?

Why?

Here’s mine:

Yes

Apple Watch (right wrist) and any mechanical or quartz (left wrist) in my collection.

It’s honestly comfortable for me and the Apple Watch tracks my sleep. Do I need it to? Probably not.. I just like too🫠🥸.

Anyone else?

Nope, I value my life. If I rolled over and hit my wife with a Seiko diver, I think I would wake up with a first person test of the water resistance.

·

I do the same. Apple Watch on my right wrist. Mechanical watch on my left. Apple Watch helps record my sleep yet I still wear a well lumed mechanical watch on my right wrist at night. I know- I’m a little crazy!

·

I sleep with a watch on, and always have. I prefer looking at a watch to know the time, rather than lighting up my phone.

Normally I wear my Marathon Steel Navigator, the tritium makes reading the time easy regardless of the ambient light/time.

·

Yep, Casio World Time because the light is good and the alarms are loud enough to wake me usually as a backup in case my others don't work because of a power loss.

·

Always with watch on, always mechanical with good lume. It dictates which watches I buy because I need the lume.

·

I always did. Taking it off for the night is too much of a bother.

·

Schwarzkopfing it to bed, I've seen this thread numerous times in the past year but you sir are a first. Well done.

Some Casio's have a snooze feature which can really come in handy, my fishing gear watch has it. I've also found that the Casio F-91w has the loudest alarm.

I have slept with an Apple watch. I wouldn't sleep wearing any watch I wanted to keep nice, because at some point it would likely be bashed into the wall.

·

24/7 always something on my wrist. I consider a watch my easily interchangeable tattoo

·

I sleep with a Garmin Descent G1 solar on my right wrist. Left wrist is where my analog watch is during the day (unless I’m traveling) | yes I double wrist and no I don’t think it weird.

I dive pretty often so the Garmin is tracking a lot daily and nightly as well as being my dive computer. 🤙🏼🤿

I didn’t for a while but have been for the past week or so, I just wear whatever watch I feel like. It’s been my tissot gentleman pretty much since I’ve gotten it. The lume isn’t great for seeing at night, just don’t want to take it off.

·

Off, I use an old school Seiko alarm clock to wake me in the morning. My phone does not come into the bedroom.

·

I always sleep with a mechanical watch on my left wrist. I do not wear my Apple Watch at night. I let it charge. But I am hooked to a CPAP that is tracking my sleep and making records.

·

Always wear a Gshock at night, light and alarm required.

·

Since #1wc I sleep with my watch on so I don't accidentally put on the wrong one in the morning. I am not even joking - Sad!

·

33mm Tissot powermatic 80 because it's small and comfortable the all nite loom helps

Smart

·

No way. I don't want to hit my watch while sleeping.

·

Of course!

Explorer.

How else are you going to see where you're peeing in the middle of the night!?

I don’t wear a watch to bed but I’m liking the idea of tracking my sleep with the Apple. Think I’ll try that. 👍

·

I do but only with certain straps- nato or Sailcloth , Never with the Bracelet, and not with my G-shocks too bulky
