Finally filled up my watch box.

With the new Baltic and Farers showing up, my wear box is finally full. I like all of these in their own way. Some are forever watches and some will be consolidated soon.

My favorites are the Chopard Skull One, Grand Seiko Omiwatari, Omega Seamaster, Louis Erard Grand Fue II enamel and Farer Cayley Verde...  I traded in my JLC polaris in for the Chopard but I will try my best to sell a few of these and others to get a Polaris Chrono, I miss that watch... then, I think I will be done... lol

lol.. i have thought about it.  I do have 3 other boxes filled with casios, movado, momodesign, swatches and others Ive had from my past that I can't part with... but this is my main wear box.... I dont think my wife will left me get over a $2000+ watch without selling a few... I think she is at her limit allowing me to get away with this stuff lol

Looks like a collection for any occasion 👌

·

Solid lineup, mate! Congratulations...

·

alot of choice stuff...how long to fill that box?

·

perfect collection my friend

·

I've never seen anyone else with the Cayley Verde! If it's one of your favourites it must wear well?

·

Nice collection of major brands and microbrands! My favorites are your two #grandseiko pieces and your #louiserard

How is owning a #meistersinger? I'm interested in learning about the brand from an actual owner? Have you adapted to the single hand layout? Do you wear it much with all these other fantastic pieces?

·

So you're done now 😜?

·

Congrats! I filled my 15-slot watchbox a couple weeks ago too. Remember, 15 in the box with one on the wrist!🤣

So after filling it, I won a giveaway for a free 6-slot watchbox. My wife and friends said something along the lines of 'Looks like you need to get 6 more watches.' So many enablers! 🤣

·

Lovely collection. A true watch nerd's box! I really like that Muhle pilots watch.

·

SMP300, Grand Seiko and Longines Marine are fantastic!

·

Very cool collection. I look forward yo your next post “I need a new watch box, what is your favorite?”

·

Very nice mix there.  I bought one of those AOPA MG watches for my father, its a nice flieger watch!

·

Nice collection with great variety. I’m glad to hear about your ‘back up boxes’. I’m debating my ‘need’ for a seventh box as we speak. I have about 15 in my wear rotation also, but I’m pretty sentimental, so don’t let much go.

·

Nice! Time to get another box!

·

Nice collection!!..much respect!..

·

Very nice collection!

Wow - excellent choices! Classy collection.

I love those Wolf watch boxes as well.

That new salmon dial Farer is excellent! I'm on the waitlist for the next drop if there is one.

The Squale Azzurro is classic.

Ok missed it by a mile 😁

This is a sharp collection mate. You have a lot of fun watches, I especially like the salmon dial farer and the long ones heritage military. Good work 👍

Solid collection! How do you decide what to wear everyday? Are there some you wear more often than others?

My watch box only holds 12 (+1 on my wrist).

How long did it take you to fill it? Did you have your desired purchases pre-planned or did you surprise yourself with some purchases?

Most days I wear my GS Omiwatari. I really like the thinness and the dial is just fun to look at, it really pops for being subtle.  I will wear the GS quartz (black dial) when I am going to a place where i might get my hands wet, or don't want to attract attention... like going to a 11pm movie downtown or something. I wear the Seamaster to the beach (I live in Hawaii) or anytime I plan on sweating. After that, I usually pick which one goes with what I am wearing or depends on where I go.

I like wearing my Chopard Skull because it is very comfortable and the sunray face and the gold pops in the daylight... So, if we have a work get-together in the park or a kids bday party I like to wear that one.  The rest of them just get rotated as I feel. I have really liked the longines marine nationale lately and the Farer Cayley is great on the wrist.  But the Farer Durham is also unique... and the white enamel dial on the Louis Erard is real classy. The Hamilton WAS my dress watch for late night dinners, but the GS has taken that spot. i mean... obviously, I like them all, so it depends.  I wear the green Sieko when I work around the house and clean or something, Im not as worried about that one if it gets banged up... but it is really comfortable though.

None of them were surprises. Each one was thought out including brand, color and function and bought with a specific role in mind.  That's why there is only one white dial, one deep blue, one california dial, one vintage inspired, one cushion case, etc.... For example, my next watch is a Chrono... After that I will get a nice GMT, then a Breitling...  just filling holes at this point.

That Omega at the center is just stunning 😍

What a collection!

Would LOVE some wrist shots of the two Grand Seikos you own.

I'm about a year into this hobby and though I only have a small affordable collection, I was able to recognise most of the watches in your box!

I think I'm starting to really enjoy this website.

Here’s hoping Santa brings you a new watch box to fill in the new year!
