I agree with you but for whatever reason only with Rolex. Watches like the SBGA413 is popular… among watch enthusiasts, it’s not a generally well know watch so I would give any GS a pass.
Something timeless that you will wear. You need to leave an impact on the watch by wearing it frequently around her so something you will enjoy and something in a timeless style b/c who knows how style will change or what she will be into decades from now
IWC. If you don’t know watches (or racing) you wouldn’t know it at all but their “entry level” watch is $5050 retail usd
I definitely could but it would be hard to leave room for “fun” as diver, dress and chrono would be occupied spaces quickly and leave little room for a fun Casio or G-Shock
