Nice! That’s the right size watch for your wrist based on that pic, IMO. My 36mm explorer is my favorite and the centerpiece of my collection. I’ve gotten rid of everything over 40.5 mm (not counting the g-shock) because they just look/feel like too much on my 7.25” wrist.

My wrist is just under 7”. I’ve seen it on bigger wrists and think it still looks great. I like the proportions of the 36 dial a lot. It has a different feel from the current 40mm option for sure but both great options.

Congratulations. Excellent choice the 36mm. I had the same reaction to it being small. I now never look at watches over 40mm, and mine that are, I think are too big! Enjoy your Explorer, and be ready to struggle to wear anything else.
