Hahaha same. As a student with very little disposable income I currently have a one watch collection (although I’m hoping to expand it soon). I try to ignore the urges but they just keep getting stronger. 😂
I think that Monogamy in watches is portrayed as overly romantic, and is not attainable for most people especially those deeply involved in the watch world. While I'm sure for many people who aren't as obsessed as us degenerates it is attainable, watch nerds are always searching for the "perfect watch" which doesn't exist. Instead, we get multiple watches to scratch our different itches or have turnover in our collections to keep our itches scratched (That may be the weirdest phrase I've ever typed). And there is nothing wrong with that. I don't think there should be any "best" way to go on your watch journey. I'm sure there are outliers who are into watches and do have a single-watch collection but overall if you are obsessed with watches (as most of us are) I think that it is just as "romantic" to have many watches as it is to have one. Just my thoughts on this, take it as you will.
Agreed, the white aquascaphe is beautiful. Really really tempting. I think I settled on the Foreteller Cambrian as an alternative that fits my budget better for my next purchase though.
