New watch canidate? Lorier Gemini.
I've been researching my way through the endless world of Budget watches and stumbled upon this guy, The Lorier Gemini V2. My first impression was, "This watch is stunning and I love the idea of adding an automatic chronograph to my collection... and only $500! I gotta have it." From there, I did some of my own research, and it sounds like Lorier is a well-respected Micro-Brand, and that overall this watch is a high-quality budget chronograph with a solid movement. But, considering my still limited experience with watches I thought I'd ask some more qualified people that have experience with Lorier, or even this type of watch, is this watch all that it seems? And are there any downsides I may be missing? Appreciate any help or advice on the matter.

Its a nice watch from a brand that is well-liked here and among enthusiasts. Like all Seagull based watches, the movements can be hit or miss, but again, at this price point, it is the go-to movement and a nice alternative to mecha-quartz. I go back and forth on which I prefer, but it would be a nice pick up either way if you can get one.
I think the Gemini and the Neptune both look great!
Lorier is a fantastic brand and I cant recommend them highly enough. For clarity though it’s a hand wind chrono not an auto. I’ve got that movement in my studio underd0g and it’s much nicer than i expected although the pusher action is pretty mushy. Thought hard about the Gemini and I didn’t end up pulling the trigger cause as much as I adore their bracelet that particular model didn’t seem to look right on it. Their new jubilee style on the racer version I like better.
that being said if you’re not a bracelet guy on a single pass or some rally straps that watch is pure 🔥

all good, would be an annoying shocker if you found out on unboxing. Hope you go with it. I'm all behind Lorenzo and Lauren Ortega for what they've created in Lorier :)
I've got a Neptune version 3 & it's a great watch for the price
