I really like the designs in this collection.. but as someone with little or no interest in the Rat pack or Sinatra it's not for me! I feel the same about the Oris Jazz Atelier editions, beautiful watches but I don't even recognise who they are named after..
I just saw the current model at my local Costco for $349. I figured it had to have a quartz movement for that price. I was really surprised to see that it had an automatic movement.
I love that they kept the Sinatra branding (or any Rat Pack reference) off of the dial for this one and just let the design speak for itself. I've liked a few of the Sinatra models but the hat on the dial was just a bit too on-the-nose. This is something special. The only thing wrong with it (IMHO) is the sizeโa watch so overtly 60s-retro in every way belongs in a mid-size case.

Pretty much my view of them. The esthetic is on point, but the cases are too large for the era.
Now THAT'S the way to do it. Some of us were discussing in a recent thread on the Sinatra range about how Frank never wore Bulova watches; but he certainly advertised them. So there's a connection... it's just not what people think it is. My take was the Sinatra watches would do better keeping the name, but moving the signature to the caseback. I don't know what's on this caseback, but I appreciate it doesn't have that Rat Pack logo on the dial!
This must be a generational thing. As someone who remembers the 1970's and 1980's, young people thought that these guys were the antithesis of cool. I guess all fashions become hip again if enough time passes.
This watch is my favorite in the collection. It has the mid-century vibe. I am not sure how I feel about the date, however.

The whole Sinatra collection is outstanding.
Bulova makes some really nice watches, I am on the fence about the MIL-SHIPS
To wear it, you would need a drink in your hand and smoking.
I really like it.
You only go around once, but if you play your cards right, once is enough.
Love me some rat pack collectibles definitely really cool

Juice and a candy cigarette! ๐
Bulova is doing some cool things with the Sinatra line and I love they expanded to the Rat Pack.
Thatโs super cool!
"Uh-ring-a-ding-ding."

These guys looked cool eating ice cream!
Man, that is slick!!!! Awesome.๐๐ฅณ๐๐ฅณ
This one really should have their smooth sweep quartz movement. A smooth second sweep on this dial, would be magic.
Should be "partial Rat Pack"
Peter Lawford, Joey Bishop???
Get it right Bulova.
Love that they didnt saturate the dial with unnecessary text, very classic. Congratulations!
How do they put a martini in the case without spilling it?
Holy Cow! What a beautiful keepsake

I love the Sinatra collection! I own the โfly me to the moonโ with the white dial..I just adore that watch. The whole collection is great.

Add on minor players that didn't make or break the Rat Pack
Very cool ๐
