That's a bit of a sore spot for my wife and me! I'm at 8 this year, at least, but for as much as my wife has brought up how many watches I've purchased this year, she basically encouraged me to buy the most recent one, my Breitling Premier B09 Pistachio.

I purchased 2, a Black Bay 41 and a Speedmaster Professional. Not sure if mods count as I also assembled to NH builds.

Started off with a PRX, then managed to buy my favorite watch Sinn U50, added a 556 MoP as well, and took a break. Then, come October, a buying spree started that led to snagging a HMT, a Vintage Casio, a Casio Royale, and two G-Shocks (a 2100 and a 5610). Additionally, I bought my mother a Tissot, and my brother a Seiko Presage. So, that sums up watch purchases for 2023 for me. A total that stands at 10. 2024 should be much quieter.

Bought and acquired the pink Rowing Blazers Seiko 5, and bought but still waiting on the Spinnaker blue 50 Phantoms

I think I bought 7. Need to slow down next year ☹️
