GS9 Grand Seiko NYC Flagship Store Event
Had the chance to attend the GS9 event for the new Grand Seiko NYC Flagship store opening. The new space is a significant upgrade from the old boutique just down the street on Madison Ave.
This new space is HUGE by comparison. If you’ve been to the old space you’ll know that it was basically just one room. The new space has a proper entry / foyer, with a bar / seating area, many more showcases, and an entire downstairs lounge space with another bar. The new flagship store is also bright and airy. A much needed upgrade for GS.
Even with the upgrade space, it felt crowded because there was so many people in attendance. The special cocktail (yuzu sake fizz) was delicious and hit me and my wife instantly.
Great event by GS9. Looking forward to the next one.

Can't do cocktails, so that did nothing for me. I miss the massive amounts of sushi they had at other events.
They claim this is the largest GS boutique in to world. The other two "flagships" are in Japan. It's nice that GS ground zero is a short bike ride away.
