1st post, longtime lurker. Excited to be part of a true community that is passionate about watches!
Hey everyone, wanted to just say hello and introduce myself. I love watches like everyone else here as well as anything automotive (man why do hobbies that go hand in hand also need to be expensive?) I'm in Texas but originally from the Detroit area.
Anyways, decided to take a quick pic of my current rotation (2nd pic). Nothing crazy and as you can see no real theme either, these are just the watches I've lately bonded with more.
The Pam 177 has seen the most action lately as I've really started to try to mix up more and more straps...1st pic was earlier today on a burnt orange strap to mix it up a little at the office.
Looking forward to being part of this awesome group and contributing to all things time piece related!
Have loved watches since my days in high school. New dad and also avid enthusiast on anything automotive as well!

Thanks for the comment, glad to meet another gear head enthusiast! And wow that chronomat looks absolutely crisp in that shot, love the two tone. I'm lately considering picking up another Breitling again but will likely go with something with less sub dials to balance out my chrono avenger.

I have a habit of being a lurker too. I’m trying to stretch out of my comfort zone and share my voice on this platform. (Still lurking on Reddit and IG.) I’m new here, but this community feels friendly.
So to be honest the panerai was always a watch that was striking to me because of its distinct design. Really no other watch manufacturer has as recognizable silhouette as a panerai imo, specifically the Luminors with the crown guard. I also wanted one "real big" watch. And surprisingly on my 7 and a quarter inch wrist it doesn't even look off. They really do wear nicely for its size. I will also say that I feel I can wear a panerai more casually than other watches just because how versatile straps are on these watches.

Do it, you won't regret it. Only advice is scour as many models as possible because there really are so many variants and if you stumble on one you didn't see before, you'll have buyers remorse (like max did in his youtube video)
