GS Diver: Got a new lens today, took a shot of my current favorite watch in entire collection

Basically title. Some new glass game in today so snapped a few pics of my Grand Seiko Diver. Thought it looked particularly striking against my white table.

BTW, this is pretty high ISO at 8k, so I think I can definitely get some better future shots.

Anyways, love this watch since I got it a few weeks ago. It just surprises me in different ways every day, and I was nervous to take off the bracelet, but i must say it eats up straps very well.

Who else here enjoys photography?

I'm pretty ordinary. But get surprised when I do take a half decent pic

Wow, that truly looks amazing, is that the SBGA461, 44mm? The strap makes it look smaller and it really looks amazing! Wow 🤯👍💯

Thanks man! This is the SBGA229 in 44mm, although I can say it is very similar to the 461 you mentioned. And yes I agree the straps seem to help tone down the case size, but even without a strap this 44 wears more like a 42 on the wrist in my opinion.

Shoot mostly film. Still have a darkroom.

Nice GS, I really like these a lot

I need to get my lights/cameras out of the closet, haven’t shot in years. This might be my inspiration to dig em out and charge up the batteries

I am keen on photography and GS, so I tend to play every now and then; I have one of these foldable lightboxes from Aliexpress that is pretty handy for taking a quick shot.
