I know this is a hard topic. But very interested to know your choice (and why) ๐
I'll start with mine:
Seiko Alpinist SARB017, because this is my first "watch-crush", pretty dial, 20bar water resist, easy to dress down and up.

I thought this is going to be tough, but after a minute of thought I came up with this and it ended up an easy choice....
Now it's not the most expensive, best looking, coolest or rarest watch in the collection, but its the watch I bought with my 30 year service award from work and the amount of blood(a few times) sweat(plenty) and tears(once or twice) that's gone into getting this watch it's an easy choice really. Plus the fact it's so versatile, my kind of GADA,in a diver orientated way. Your choice is excellent, love those alpinsts, trouble is I can never decide which I like the best..green like yours, white and now the rock one, love them all,but can't have them all, damn you Mr seiko.

Excellent choice, and nothing can beat watch with history ๐ฅ
This is my personal favourite - gets more wrist time that my Tudors. The Green dial is beautifulย
Always a tough question to answer for a collector! I have considered my answer to this question many times and despite recent changes to my collection, my answer remains my Seiko SNJ025 "Arnie".
Solar powered, analog/digital, and a brand with a rich heritage. It ticks all the boxes for me, and would be my choice if I could only have one. Of course, it would look odd on formal occasions. ๐คฃ
My favourite changes from month to month. Even though I own a Rolex OP and a BB36, the watch that gives me the most pleasure is My Christopher Ward C63 Sealander GMT with it's beautiful green dial. Seen here on this wonderful Tide strap
A hard decision for me. I rotate watches often during the week and I have a fondness for many pieces. When I think about longevity and wearability, the Submariner comes to mind but I can't see my 70yr old self sporting a tank of a watch like that. After much contemplation I arrived at my accomplishment watch. The Yachtmaster 40.
For sure my Legend Diver. ย I recently also did a review on it here: https://www.watchcrunch.com/RiusRydo/reviews/longines-l3-774-4-50-0-review-15934
Easy. My Seiko Speedtimer Solar.
Whisper sweet nothings to my lil Golden Panda
Alpinist is a great choice. For me it's my Sinn 556 IM (reposting from today's WRUW).
Dresses up pretty well on leather, thanks to the sunburst dial and applied indices compared to the standard version, but tough as nails and built like a tank with 200m water resistance. Can't think of a scenario this wouldn't work for.
My DJ41 - timeless and flexible
Very difficult but I guess I would go with the 875 UTC as it's just so good and comfortable and absolutely me at the end of the day.
This is with my very latest addition but the Sinn just feels bullet proof . Yeah this would be my keeper for sure.
Apart from my watches with a personal attachment, the Seiko is a forever watch. Great choice.
i'll choose my glycine airman obviously. i dont form any attachment with inanimated object but the glycine is the most expensive watch in my collection so in a way it make sense ๐.
Seriously a tough choice for me.
Do I go with my just over a month old & first Swiss watch; the Glycine Airman?
Do I go with my quartz "Aquaman" diver Chrono?
The quartz Blacklist Streetmatic Racing watch?
One of the three watches the wife has gifted me?
You know what? I refuse to play this game!
Stripping out sentimental considerations, it's my JLC Master Geographic Q1428171
It's not the most rugged thing....but neither am I! ย What it truly is, is an absolute strap monster and at home in most situations. ย Love this thing.
I also one watched it for 40 days straight in the #1wc so I feel pretty good about if I had to give up everything else for it.
I thought about this for a while - first thought was Nomos Club Campus but then I thought about my SARB017 too (good choice @watch.yuk ), and then, and then...
...and then I thought: "no, this is some Sophie's Choice s**t, I don't need this."
Easy. My SLGH009. Because it checks all of my main boxes. And itโs gorgeous. And the tech. And theโฆ
This one. Because it was a gift from Mrs. NorthShore Watch in the 90s and its been through a bunch of stuff with me. ย And her. ย
If I need to do any proper physical activity, I'll just go watchless.
What a cruel thought... I think this would be the one for meย
Always attracted with Sinn. Possibly my next purchase ๐ ๐ฅ

A very handsome Cartier indeed, I love the c-shape case ๐๐ป
Ug - crazy hard decision!!ย
Would VERY grudgingly choose the Prospex LXย
ย
This is despite still not finding a band I love for it ๐ฅฒ
Very hard question to answer indeed, but if it came to the crunch (yes pun intended) I would have to go with my Sinn 556iRS. It can do anything and I love the size of these watches, so much so I bought 2 ๐คฃ`
My blue Sinn would go because it's too dressy, but my black 556 would stay, it's a strap monster ๐น
What more could you ask for ?
Iโve got a fairly small budget as a collector and this is the most expensive in my collection at the moment by far and my favourite. Ive been trying to go 1 watch for about a month with this and it works flawlessย

I wish I had the wrist for this Sinn. It would probably be my favourite Sinn. But reality is U50 is my actual Sinn :)
I have Rolex OP39, Sub 41 and Sinn U50 and 556, Breitling Superocean 42 and although I like those watches a lot, Iโd definitely keep the Tudor BB58

How big is the U50? Really love the U series. UX is awesome!

U50 is 41mm but wears like 40 because the case is only 11mm thin and has small lug to lug. After my BB58 the U50 is what I wear the most. I guess I wear my most comfortable watches the most. Both just disappear on the wrist.ย
By the way, I recommend U50 on rubber. I have bracelet too, but always wear it on rubber ๐
As others have said, taking out sentimental considerations: My IWC Mark XV.ย
At 38mm with the pyramid style bracelet it really is the perfect everyday watch for me.
ย
excluding a couple very sentimental ones that are not even worn (ie: grandfathers watch) its gotta be this Seiko Turtle. I have been through so many ups and downs and life changes with this watch on my wrist and its been a faithful and trusty companion
