Exclude Casio (and yes, G Shock included), what is the cheapest watch in your collection? Love to see some photos ๐
I'll start with mine: Seiko "S-wave" from the 90s

1980's plastic Swatch quartz day date.
Same here @RFIMike, a couple of 80s Swatches that were probably $30-$35 each, new. Still ticking, but a little too small for me to wear anymore.ย
Excluding Casios it is Vostok 420007
$10 if you count the battery for this NOS watch I bought earlier this year
Over the years I've bought bags of random old watches for practice or messing around with. Occasionally I found an interesting one amongst the dozens of junk watches, so effectively these cost little more than pennies.
I have a bunch of estate sale finds that were as cheap as $1. ย But as for what I wear, this old 7002.ย
Probably this Armitron.ย
I've never worn it. It's a Citizen sister brand that I got used for 8 bucks. Thinking of converting it into a Pokemon "colab". ๐
I also have a garbage hello kitty watch that I bought for 5 bucks for a joke but that doesn't count. It's not part of my collection and is missing most of the movement.ย
$3 AliExpress special. ๐คฃ
Itโs my steal deal from Costco - #casio ย pathfinder solar $60

I also have this petite 34mm Guess fashion watch from the 1980's and I am quite surprised how much I am 'ok' with this case size on my 7" wrist. Probably pid about $20 for it back then.
I added the multi colored Paratrooper strap and it completes the look. I find that I am wearing this little watch more than I thought I would!ย
Excluding Casios it is Vostok 420007
That's a very nice combo on that strap too!
It would be my Vostok 120512
$89 pre-invasion pricing...
My cheapest watch is a 1980 Seiko Type II Quartz, but it's also been the most expensive to own.
I bought it a few months ago. It was lying dead in a flea market, complete with box and papers. Since then, I've sent it for repair twice. I've also purchased several tools to buff the scratches off the hardlex crystal. Quite a pain! But also a lovely watch to own. Its quartz movement is very reliable and accurate. If only the past owner could see it now!

Ass brand? LOL
I just ordered this in beigeย
Not Casio and g shockโฆit would be my Steel Dive and my Cadisen day date. Both were on sale on Aliexpress.ย
Oulm 9925 Men Sports. $17 from Ali. If ever there was a watch that screams โMen Sportsโ, itโs this masterpiece.ย
ย
It looks like a gas mask
Excluding Casio, my Seiko 5 SRPG and Orient Kamasu are roughly the same

My 1957 Pobeda ZiM which I've got for around 15 dollars.
I try not to go to far deep but I always like the have a very few it may be something fun and rear and best part that it works!
Cheap Flea market find.
My 1957 Pobeda ZiM which I've got for around 15 dollars.
Wow, what a great price for such a great find!
47โฌ Pre-owned Escapement Time, King Seiko imitation.
Pros: No alignment issues ๐คญ.
Cons: Feels like a fake, and looks cheap up close.

If I recall correctly, when I was a kid, there was a brand of condoms called Durex. Too funny.

Still is, though it may be more of a UK thing
I bought this Nomad back in 1998. I couldn't sleep one night and was trolling through ebay trying to find a vintage post card I was looking for and this popped up as a "suggested for you". There was 3 minutes left and I bid $10.49 and got it. Its Swiss, manual wind, nice looking, has never been serviced and has gone on every family vacation with me since I bought it as I'm not concerned if it gets lost or stolen. Not sure how old it is. I would bet 1950s. I just bought a new strap for it for our last trip as it was needing some love.ย
This one: A Cross quartz chrono that I received as a gift circa 2000. It's truly terrible and I don't wear it because of it's ridiculous +60mm L2L, but it does answer the criteria of cheap since my cost of purchase was 0.
Now if we are talking about the cheapest watch that I bought with my own money, then it might be my Vostok 420 SCUBA dude.
