The Longines has applied indices and quite some depth, whereas the Tudor is super flat with printed yellowish indices. Perhaps you should check them out in Ye Olde Shoppe? I think you’ll find Spirit more to your liking.

Dials with patterns and texture tend to be matte, but there are examples where Seiko creates a rock face texture that is actually shiny. There’s also the satin-like finish with a subtle sunburst - in the middle of matte and shiny. I appreciate all unique dial patterns.
