What's your go-to "fun" watch?
I'm looking for a fun, possibly colorful, affordable summer watch. It seems to be the missing piece in my collection at the moment... Originally, the Jupiter Moonswatch filled this spot, but I was worried about it breaking every time I wore it, and part of this for me is a watch that's somewhat durable... and yes, I have a G-shock 🙂 What's your favorite "fun" or "summer" watch?

Fav summertime watch is anything on a bracelet.
My “fun” watches would probably be any of my Casios or my CIGA Type C or my gaudy 80s gold Armitron Griffy haha.
If we’re talking daily driver “summer” watches, I’ve been wearing my Mido Oceanstar and RZE Ascentus a lot this summer.
I have two that I think of as fun summer watches.
My Spinnaker/Islander Hi Beat Croft
And my Phoibos/Islander Reef Master

My summer and beater watch is my Squale 1521 with the blasted finished case. This thing can take on whatever you throw it’s way. If I want to add color I will throw it on an orange tropic strap.
I have been wearing my Moonswatch Mars for my beating around fun watch (when things dont include water). Otherwise its my SSK005. This watch is amazing.
By the way that g shock has the softest strap.. You might like it more than your current one.

I just sold my Moonswatch, loved the look of it, just worried about it breaking when playing with my kids etc. I've also really wanted to jump on the SSK train, but they wear a little large for me, super cool though.
That first one is titanium. Super nice. Make it summery with a fluorine rubber strap in any color. They are way nicer on the skin than silicone or hard plastic like most g shocks.

Bright colors define summer fun. My wife and I shared a Jupiter (very wearable to the office) but since she just picked up a speedmaster, I decided to get the Sun. One of the more colorful ones other than Mars and has a metallic looking dial.

This has been making me smile all summer. Great size, the obvious charm of the drawing for a pilot-style watch, and the numerals rendered in Charles Schulz’s handwriting are all just wonderful. The $400 price tag isn’t at all bad, either.
