Congrats! I traded the bb pro, but definitely regret it every now and then. Such a great timepiece and very different from the Pepsi. The bb pro just looks so good on the wrist and the lume plots are next level!
What size santos are you going for? If you’re getting the 35mm Santos, the blue BB58 would fit nicely in that line up.
If Omega stopped playing around and made a 39mm Speedy Pro or SMP 300m I might come out of retirement 🤔
Great collection as well! The Santos is beautiful. I was seriously looking at the SBGW291 and had a 231, but the proportions of the Rolex Date were just perfect with 34mm case and long lugs with a 19mm width. Case size on the 231 felt a little big for how classic and dressy the dial is and when considering the 291, I got super obsessive and wanted something between the case sizes of the Tank and Explorer, but with the same lug width. Also initially wanted all different brands represented, but again, the Date was exactly what I was looking for regarding design and dimensions. Also doesn’t hurt that it’s a birth-year vintage/neo-vintage piece 🙂
