GIVEAWAY: seconde/seconde/ x Spinnaker: Fifty Phantoms Blue Edition

Hey Watch Crunchers!

Roshan here from the Spinnaker team. Some of you may be familiar with us after our collaboration with seconde/seconde/ last October (although a successful release, the launch was a bit of a mess - our site crashed and we disappointed a LOT of fans and potential customers). To try and make it up to everyone, we had a 50-hour pre-order the following week for a couple of newly designed blue variants with an expected delivery in March 2024.

Well, that time has come and we're excited to say that we're finally getting the first batch of watches shipped out this week. We truly appreciate that you - the Watch Crunch community - has had an incredibly important role in our growth over the past year, so we wanted to give something back.

After speaking with @Max he's given us his blessings to go ahead with a giveaway :)

With all the feedback and enthusiasm, it's only fitting that the giveaway is for one of our prototypes of the Fifty Phantoms Blue Mist!

Giveaway Rules:

I love the fifty phantoms! 👻

·

I love the Boettger Automatic collection because of Their playful fun and colorful designs in particular I love the midnight navy variant. And I know that there are other similar watches from the likes of seiko With their seiko 5 collection and citizen with their TSUYOSA Collection. But something about the Boettger’s Colors and overall aesthetic just beats all the other brands

The new Bradner GMT looks really sweet!

·

I’m not gonna lie, the Dolphin Project is such a rad watch! I am so stoked for the Blue Phantom.

I am quite fond of the Croft Nomad. Initially because I hear Croft and think Lara. But, it’s to my tastes.

(Good luck to all.)

hadn't heard that one before, but it's stuck now!

hadn't heard that one before, but it's stuck now!

I first started looking at them when I was hunting around for HK watches — I am big on the city/island and its history (and films, more WKW than John Woo though) but the Croft thing stuck me straight in Tomb Raider territory. I remember when I was kid that most affordable watches came from HK, but these days it’s harder to see that anywhere over here. First Japan, then Mainland China became the thing. There’s still a few though. Expensive from my perspective (atm — they are actually pretty good price wise) but I kind of like that there’s still watchmaking based in Hong Kong.

Come on then @roshbm, who's the winner?

Congrats @jimmylim ! You're the lucky winner of our prototype watch! I'll DM you for details to have the watch shipped out.

Thank you to EVERYONE who participated and joined in for this giveaway. Great to see so many fans and most importantly to hear your feedback! Looking forward to seeing some of you at WindUp SF - we've got some exciting releases to come this year!

And a special mention to Max for allowing us to all have this platform to share a love and passion of watches!

Thanks again :)
