I just became part of the cult yesterday. Starting to understand it.
There are 2 issues with these GS watches:
The bracelet finish quality doesn't match the case
The bracelet has no micro-adjust. I sold all my IWCs and never went back because the lack of micro-adjust and the imperfect fit on my wrist finally got to me enough for me to abandon my (at the time) favorite brand. I'm not going to make the same mistake with GS.

The bracelet finish quality doesn't match the case
The bracelet has no micro-adjust. I sold all my IWCs and never went back because the lack of micro-adjust and the imperfect fit on my wrist finally got to me enough for me to abandon my (at the time) favorite brand. I'm not going to make the same mistake with GS.
Fit me like a glove,and not OJs and bracelet finish matches the watch perfectly 👌 I'm looking at it now ❤️

I have never adjusted my Subs or any other watches after sizing them; I never needed to use the micro adjustments. I have traveled the globe on many fly fishing excursions, with my hands going in and out of water of varying temperatures, and I have never even thought about adjusting my watch.
I also don't quite understand why anyone would want the bracelet to be as nicely finished as the case when the bracelet is going to be subject to abuse. If I purchased a vehicle based on its factory tires, I would have never owned a Porsche 911 😂 just saying.

But in the end it’s still a Seiko … Don’t get me wrong as I would love to have a GS.

Beautiful watch, love the clean no nonsense look of GS. I can only explain it as a quiet confidence.
