Omega Seamaster professional 300m, which one looks better?

Recently been looking at Omega Seamasters and think the 300m looks super cool, in my local AD there is the blue, the black and also the 300m summer blue, is this better than the original?

I like the original.

Me too... Original seems timeless, right?

·

Actually, the black might be my favourite:)

I am a massive Omega fan, the Speedmaster is the watch I aspire to. I just think the original is cleaner and more legible.

·

Personally I'd go with the summer blue, love the fume dial.

·

🟢is my favourite. But out the 2 I know the blue of the OG but think the anniversary is nicer.

Summer blue for the win (that’s me, but photo credit to Topper Jewelers Instagram).

Summer blue is better looking. Original, while classic Bond, is starting to look dated

·

I'm not a fan of the red tipped seconds hand and red text.

·

I am not a fan of the blued lume personally, so I’d opt for the original.

·

The red letters give a sexy touch to the original that I love.

·

It just occured to me that those fumé dials look like normal dials viewed under an instagram filter

·

I like the original blue although I have the white dial.

·

I pre-ordered the Summer Blue and then backed out, based on watch reviews which intimated that the hands blend in with the dial. The watch looks good in person. I wound up purchasing the standard blue Seamaster Diver 300M from Jomashop on a rubber strap for $4150. Reference 210.32.42.20.03.001. I was able to get the "master chronometer certification" from Omega. (Joma also repaired a Tissot watch of mine previously so I am confident that they can service the watch; or I will simply pay for service from Omega when needed.) To me, the spread between AD and the gray market is just too big to justify going AD. For Rolex and GS I did go AD. Looking back, for GS I might go Japanese Sakura.

It's the summer blue for me. It's like the OG, but with a twist (plus, I never really liked the red accents on the original). I think it looks killer the sun.

The white dial looks good!

Both are great, can’t go wrong with any omega 🤩

There’s no right or wrong here. At the end of the day, it’s your choice. The summer version makes the watch look a little different, and if you want a conversation starter, maybe that enough to choose that option.

I do wish though, Omega would change the bracelet. Way too much going on for my taste. I hardy wear my SMP on the bracelet any more (I have the white dial), they all look amazing on a rubber or NATO straps.

Enjoy whichever you oh decide to get 👊

Totally agree on the bracelet which I really dislike. The watch looks great on a Staib Mesh bracelet instead although I mostly wear mine with a rubber strap.

I like the original...

ADs will deal on the SMP, got my Blue beauty and love it as a beautiful yet tough daily wear. It’s a great watch.

The original blue is a perfect watch (assuming you don’t need to turn the bezel….), can’t go wrong with it

·

All my Omegas have been black. Just a me thing. I must say I think that summer blue looks great. I’d wear it proudly

·

I’m sorry but they both have hands only a mother could love

·

The one on the right

·

The red gives it a well needed pop of colour imo

·

I like the original! I love the red accent, it seems to me that the look of the watch “kicks” different when it has a little of an extra color (Pelagos 39, Black Bay 39 black, Milgauss…)

Cheers

·

The summer blue, with its all-white text, is the more cohesive look, imo.
