It’s tiny it’s, battered, it’s quartz and it’s old, but this was my first “proper” watch from over 20 years ago and I’ve dived with this all over the world… although it’s way too small for me now and the bracelet is too small for my adult wrists I could never sell it
I do love this reference… the sword handset and markers remind me of the CWC diver.
For me it’s toss up between this and the NTTD, but if they made a matte version of this there would be no question
I love my Ranger and have never had a thing for the explorer… but this isn’t about me or anyone else’s opinion.
Here’s the practical advice… you could always scratch that itch with the Rolex now and worse case scenario if you really don’t like it as much day to day, it’s easy to get another Ranger at the moment.
But I think if you can’t stop thinking about the explorer you probably won’t until you try it. You’ll either love it or you can sell it on
