Unclestraps “fixed” the NTTD omega seamaster

I’ve been considering the NTTD seamaster for the past 2 years and as much as the Milanese bracelet has grown on me a little I have to admit it’s the one thing that’s stopped me from buying it.

Just saw these on uncle straps and I think they look great… the big decision is which one looks better the 3 or 5 link?

(I know some people will still say the Milanese… and I do like it, it just doesn’t feel tool watch enough for how I wear my watches)

Be aware of the material. If the strap is stainless steel it will likely damage the Titanium Grade 2 case of the watch due to different levels of hardness.

It’s titanium… and specific to the NTTD

I "vote" for the 3 link version. Looks cleaner, since there is already a lot going on with the watch itself.

·

I think a tool watch looks more coherent on the understated three link bracelet. Especially in titanium.

Definitely a big upgrade from the milanese. 👍

I completely agree! Nice to have options but the 3 link looks better to me too

Completely agree, I love the look on the 3 link, kinda wish omega did this on the normal seamaster as an option too

I think 3... 5 looks a little busy.

In that case it’s no problem. I’d take the 5 link bracelet. It might be more comfortable due to the smaller links.

·

Both options just look all kinds of wrong to me. I much prefer it on the Milanese (feels great to wear too IMO 👍🏼)

·

Doesn't look like the finish of either bracelet matches the watch very well. I'd throw a NATO on that beauty and call it good. 🙂

Those look incredible, wow, that completely redefines the NTTD! Normally I'm an O style guy, but I think the J style looks really nice

·

5! Closer to a needs of rice…

·

Both! For an 8k ish watch, another 350usd to get both would definitely be what I do

·

I like the mesh on mine. If they want to make a bracelet for this watch it needs to have omega dna not rolex dna. How about a titanium omega style strap. Flat link or 2254 style bracelet. Even a tapered version of the normal 300 bracelet. That would be a win.

·

YES……………to both !!

I also opted to not get the nttd because of the strap

·

Sorry. But the mesh is the best choice for this watch. Don’t like the mesh. Ok the watch isn’t for you.

Visually I prefer the 3 links because matches the vocation of the watch best.

But 5 links could be more comfortable and the satinised finish of the titanium keep it from being too dressy in my opinion. Hard to choose honestly

·

Beautiful watch. I vote 3 link.

I wonder how many of the comments are from people who actually wear the watch. I just feel that Omega got this one mostly right which includes the mesh strap. So with the world of watches out there to choose from why try to change a arrangement that is working. If it’s not broken why fix it ? just saying.

Because you only gave them 2 options. Do a poll and include the milanese.

There are a lot of people that can’t wear the Milanese because of the clasp… it’s big for a small wrist. I don’t have a problem with the Milanese and as I said it’s grown on me to some extent over the last couple of years… but I wonder how many people haven’t bought the watch because of that clasp.

·

Completely different discussion. But conclusion is the same. If it doesn’t work for you just move along.

Just curious, have you seen an example of this?

No and I heard it is titanium. So everything is fine.

·

Personally I don’t think either option works… mesh or fabric strap seems to fit the toolish nature of the watch better.

But if I had to choose, I’d go with the Jubilee-style.

Sorry, I'm confused. What did you "hear" is titanium? I thought that's what we were talking about, a titanium bracelet scratching a SS watch.

·

I’m usually a 5 link guy but I actually think the 3 link looks better

The watch is titanium he was saying to be careful if it’s a SS bracelet because it will scratch the watch… when I mentioned the strap was titanium that was resolved
